Contest Terms & Conditions
- It is preferred that current in-game emblems are not submitted
- Each submitted emblem must be unique and your own work, or you must have permission from the author to submit the emblem.
- Judges will include Myself, Szeto, Elvorith and special Guest Judges Mistryl & Kyzah.
- All enquiries regarding the competition should be directed towards competition@lineageone.com as NCsoft personnel will not be able to assist you.
- NCsoft is not responsible for the terms and conditions of this contest, the final decision, or the disbursement of prizes.
- The judges decisions are final.
- 7 emblems will be selected between the starting date of the competition (14/09/2005) and Friday 23/09/2005. Each of the emblems selected will be awarded a special prize. The best over-all selection will recieve FOUR months of FREE game-time credited to their Lineage 1 game account.
- All emblems submitted will be made available for public use and download via our archives.
- Multiple submissions from a single user will be accepted, however only one prize per user will be awarded.
- LineageOne reserves the right to modify, suspend, or even cancel the contest and/or these terms and conditions at our discression.
- To enter the competition, you must have a valid LineageOne website account. You can create one here.
Submission Requirements
Here are the emblem requirements: "The emblem has to be 16 pixels wide and 12 pixels high. The emblem also has to be a 24 bit color bitmap file (BMP)"
For the purpose of this contest, you will need to submit TWO copies of the emblem file, one in the original BMP format, and one as a JPEG image.
Using an Emblem with the Lineage Client
PC Users:
1.) Save your Pledge emblem BMP file in the same directory that you installed Lineage (i.e. C:\Program Files\Lineage).
2.) From within the game, you can upload the emblem by typing /emblem filename.bmp or test the emblem first by typing /checkbmp filename.bmp.
Macintosh Users:
1.) Place your Pledge emblem BMP file in the Lineage Resource folder. Press Ctrl and click on Lineage Icon. A menu will pop up. Click on "Show Package Contents" and then double click on the Contents folder. Double click on the Resource folder and place icon bmp in Resource folder.
2.) From within the game, you can upload the emblem by typing /emblem filename.bmp or test the emblem first by typing /checkbmp filename.bmp.
Remember, much like language and names, Pledge emblems must adhere to the Lineage Rules of Conduct!
