Episode 3 Hits US Test!

Big update this morning when i logged on to test... It's still downloading lol i'll keep u posted...

Yes, test is here and it finally downloaded... I'll write my full report on it in a few days once we get all the info straight, but so far some big things for u people to know are: No more water heal... now all it does is make your hp regain faster. Also there are new sprites for all characters, they're pretty kool. There is no more silencing mops on di, you can silence them... but they still cast magic and it hurts!!! Str now lasts for 10 minutes but costs 2x the mp.

Here is some more info:

  • Cancel now works off Magic resist; with 5x mr it took most mages 3 or 4 tries untill they could cancel me.
  • Dark elfs have totally been nerphed i dont know wat totally changed but i think its that they do alot less critcal hits <3... this is one thing i thought was really unfair and it looks like NC has finally changed it TY NC!!. Knights we finally have a chance at dueling Dark Elfs ^^.!
  • There is also no more delay on b2s. One of my elf freinds said that now alot of elf spells need spirit gems to use them.
  • I think they buffed up ifrit and drakes again... They hit hard this morning when i fought them; I'll test this more to find out!

• Added "Dual Pink" PvP system.
• Guard NPCs will no longer attack players when witnessing PvP attacks.
• Reduced the number of Werldern Mercenary Squad NPCs inside of the Iron Gate Guild.
• Strengthened Elven Forest Guardian NPCs.
• Added Storage Dwarves to Giran and Gludin Traders Villages.
• Added multiple Haste Master NPCs to Hidden Valley and Singing Island.
• Updated player character appearances for Elf, Knight, Royal, and Wizard classes.
• Added new attack animations for Knight, Royal, and Wizard classes.
• Added "social actions" for Elf, Knight, Royal, and Wizard classes; toggled with Alt-1, Alt-2, Alt-3, and Alt-4. Please Note! PC-only at this time.
• Added Class Damage Bonus for Dark Elves.
• Updated object appearances for several existing items.
• Rebalanced various polymorph options.
• Added several new magic spells.

  • Reduced the weight of Sword of Flames to 70.
  • Increased the AC of Ancient Sorcerer’s Cap to 8.
  • Increased Elemental Stone drop probabilities for certain Elven Forest creatures.
  • Corrected repeat delay time error with the scrolling periodic “public service announcement” notice list.
  • Corrected various Ruby Ring-related NPC text errors.

  • Increased the ingredient cost for Create Zombie from 0 magic gems to 1 magic gem.
  • Strength of Zombie created with Create Zombie is now dependent upon the Character Level of the caster. Please Note! Wizard class only; Elven-created zombies will have a set strength regardless of Character Level.
  • Rebalanced various attributes for Elven summoned elemental spirits; greater elemental spirits will now have the ability to use magical attacks.
  • Reduced effectiveness of Blizzard, Burning Spirit, Destroy, Dress Evasion, Lightning Storm, Sunburst, Tame Monster, Tornado, Turn Undead, and Vampiric Touch.
  • Added a -1 Hit Penalty to Armor Break.
  • Added pledge member selection window to Call Pledge Member functionality.
  • Reduced the duration of Dress Evasion from 5 minutes to 32 seconds.
  • Fog of Sleeping will no longer affect those players under the effect of Curse: Paralyze.
  • Corrected an issue with the auto-casting of certain spells.
  • Corrected an icon wrap display error when recasting with two lines of spell-effect icons.
  • Corrected an issue with various Beholders occasionally not giving experience when killed.
  • Corrected an issue with monster MR (Magic Resistance) when polymorphed.
  • Rebalanced various attributes for several new-player-area, high-level, and “boss” monsters.
  • The Merchant NPC Pagoru will no longer sell magic dice.
  • Traders Village Teleporters will now provide service to chaotically-aligned players.
  • Changed the material of Fruit of Evolution to vegetation.
  • Added bonus damage against “undead” NPCs to mithril, oriharukon, and silver pet teeth.
  • Added Calculator Quest; to begin this quest, speak to the Mathematician NPC Blaise in Giran.
  • Added various teleport options to Housemaid NPCs.
  • Added sound effect for claw special attack.
  • Renamed pledge command “/leave” to “/pledgeleave” (minus quotes). Known Issue: Blood Pledge Options Window “Leave” link is non-functional at this time.
  • Added name of party leader to party invite pop-up prompt.
  • Added Chat Party Rejection and Battle Music toggles to the Game Options Window.
  • Screenshots can now also be saved using the Print Screen key. Please Note! PC only.

• Players banned from Global Chat will no longer be banned from Party, Pledge, Alliance, and Local Chat as well; Trade Chat remains affected.
• Added “social actions” for all classes for the Mac client; toggled with Ctrl-W (“Greeting”), Ctrl-E (“Victory”), Ctrl-D (“Taunt”), and Ctrl-F (“Waiting”).
• Updated area location indicator text to include additional regions and reflect location difficulty.
• Experience indicator for characters Level 40 and higher will now display to four decimal places.
• Items with +0 enchantment will no longer display the “+0” when moused-over or identified.
• Moving a single item to an occupied inventory slot while holding the Ctrl key will now swap the inventory positions of the two items; without holding the Ctrl key or when moving two or more items at once, it will simply insert the moved items into the slot and shift adjacent items as usual.
