If you already have a PlayNC Master Account you can skip ahead to step 3, otherwise you'll need to follow the instructions below:
Click the link to create a PlayNC Master Account and fill in the form with the details requested. Be sure to provide accurate details as these are used by NCsoft later on to verify your account and provide support.
Now you need to add Lineage 1 to your PlayNC account - be sure to choose Lineage 1!!!
Log in to your PlayNC account and select the option to "buy" Lineage 1. You can do that from this link. Lineage 1 costs $9.99 to buy, and comes with 7 days of free game-time. After that you pay a recurring subscription fee. To begin playing you'll either need to subscribe with a credit card OR you can get going using any NCsoft game-time card.

1 month = $15 USD (United States Dollars)
4 months = $45 USD ($11.25 per month discounted rate)

Players living in Texas, California, Arizona and Minnesota: Special Tax rules apply to players living in Texas, California, Arizona and Minnesota... We highly reccomend you read this information.
Now it's time to build your characters!
First you should read and understand how character stats work. NCsoft have put a nice guide together here. We'd also encourage you to read the Quick-Start Guide and the much meatier (and a little out-dated) Lineage Guide Book.
The LineageDB website is also a very good source of information. Check out their Character Guide.
Once you get up and running you might find you need technical support. You can get to the PlayNC support desk for Lineage 1 here.
So you think you've found a problem? Please report it to support using the "Ask A Question" tab. Just select "Bug Report" from the "Department" drop-down list. Be sure to give as much information as you can.
You can use all PlayNC game time cards with your Lineage I accounts.

Knights enter the world in Hidden Valley equipped two candles, a talking scroll and a map.
When creating a knight you are given the following fixed stat points:
This class has an additional 4 points to distribute to the stat(s) of your choice. Strength: This affects the characters attack power and ability to carry items. The most common configuration for the Knight classes are Strength or Strength/Constitution. Strength/Constitution Knight By adding two additional points to Strength and two to constution gives a knight good hit-points, regeneration and strength. Constitution Knight Dexterity is also a valuable statistic point for a knight, as this affects the characters accuracy with weapons. Choose your statistics wisely as they can not be changed once you have created your character. Level 50 Class Bonus When a knight reaches level 50, he/she is able to learn level 1 common-line magic. These spells must be crafted using materials collected from the elven forest. The NPC Horun will exchange various items for each spell. Horun can be found at the north east of the Elven Forest at the border to Dragon Valley. Elven forest guardians protect the forest from outsiders, so you might want to consider trading with a friendly elf for these items. |
