NC Soft officially announced that to reflect based on the gamer's comment, Episode U will be initiated as of August 8, 2007.
Episode U's main goal is to make changes based on the gamer's comment and this will be a year wide project. The U stands for "You or User" . For the upcoming months, each month will have an update or changes to the current game based on the discussion by the gamers and will be put into Test Server for testing.
The In Game Updates:
On August 8, 2007 , the following updates will occur on Korea Test Server
- the introduction of horses (mentioned before)
- new hunting grounds for 45-51 players
This is just an introduction, we plan to make more changes as issues arises in the official boards.
Service Updates:
Not on in game will have updates, NC plan to introduce new service plan as well during this project.
During this time, NC has implemented the following services add to Lineage 1
- Immigration, change of ID, change of gender ( August 1 started)
- A event server where there's always event going on (July 4 started)
- Lineage Tournament has been updated with some sort of event.

Upcoming:
- updates will be based on the player's comment whether the are about event, services, in-game plan or anything related to lineage
- something about Lineage Pro Schumer which i have no idea what it is about
