Adding Images to your Posts

All registered users can upload a maximum of 10 images into their gallerys.

You can request more gallery space by dropping us a note in the accounts upgrade forum.

Here's how you upload images:

  • Click "Create Content"
  • Select "Image"
  • Name the image, and upload it to the server.

That's the image uploaded to our server... now go away and make your post.

When you're done writing:

  • Place the cursor in the location where you want your image to appear in your content (the body textarea).
  • Click the "Add inline images to this post" link at the bottom of the page, find your image and insert it via the 'Insert image' button.

Points to note:

  • If you want the full image to be inserted - make sure to un-check the "use original thumbnail" checkbox
  • The image caption entered will be displayed below the image.
  • Most browsers such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla clones will insert the image exactly where you place your cursor in the textarea of your content form. Otherwise the image will be appended to the end of your entry.
  • Mac OS X's Safari will paste the image at the bottom of your post

Maintaining Blogs

Q: How do my friends link to my blog?
That's an easy one! Tell them to point to http://www.lineageone.com/blog/username ... obviously replacing username with your login id! :)

Q: How do I upload in image to the server?
This requires special access permissions to the LineageOne server. For the purposes of conserving bandwitdth and disk space this option is turned off by default. If you need this facility please post to the Support Forum

Q: Can anyone register, or do I have to be a mac user?
LineageOne is open to all Lineage fans old or new, Mac or PC

Q: I registered for access, but never recieved a confirmation email... what can I do?
Beat your mail providor with a big stick and complain? But seriously... it's no biggy - just send us an email from the account you used to register to support@lineageone.com.

Q: I work for NC and want to use my known nickname... Can I register?
Yes, of course you can however NC staff nicknames are blocked. Please see this thread for details.


NC Staff Names

NC Staff Nicknames (which are known) have been blocked on this site in an attempt to prevent users from impersonating them.

They can be unblocked ONLY by the site administrator.

Why aren't I in the Hall Of Fame?
