All registered users can upload a maximum of 10 images into their gallerys.
You can request more gallery space by dropping us a note in the accounts upgrade forum.
Here's how you upload images:
- Click "Create Content"
- Select "Image"
- Name the image, and upload it to the server.
That's the image uploaded to our server... now go away and make your post.
When you're done writing:
- Place the cursor in the location where you want your image to appear in your content (the body textarea).
- Click the "Add inline images to this post" link at the bottom of the page, find your image and insert it via the 'Insert image' button.
Points to note:
- If you want the full image to be inserted - make sure to un-check the "use original thumbnail" checkbox
- The image caption entered will be displayed below the image.
- Most browsers such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla clones will insert the image exactly where you place your cursor in the textarea of your content form. Otherwise the image will be appended to the end of your entry.
- Mac OS X's Safari will paste the image at the bottom of your post

that link does not appear for me. I can in theory upload pictures, but in actuality I don't think they're forming any sort of online group for me. Maybe my account status isn't allowing that to happen?

Again, there is no, "img_assi
Again, there is no, "img_assist link" that appears when I go to create blog content. Further, if I upload images, they are not actually being uploaded: when I come back there are no images in my gallery.
I think whatever permissions you have given to yourself you need to look at and give to anyone else that is also allowed to upload pictures. As it stands now, while I can see the dialog boxes that in theory allow me to upload pictures 1) they do not actually seem to be on your server and 2) they are not available for my blog and 3) the dialog box, "img_assist link" does not appear. I suspect that permissions on my account are less than on your's.

I spotted a bug in the image module - using my magical (bad) programming powers I have generated a fix.
Riv - I have reset your account password (i "borrowed" your account to check it).
Look me up and i'll sort ya out - but the bottom line is it works for you folks now :P

OK, I think it works for me now. I don't know if I lik ethe thumbnail feature yet, but I do liek the handy dandy lil window with all my pics on the side at all times for insert! If this holds up I will have a nice big update this week! :D

One small bug. I found that if you hit the add pic link while in the pic viewer it attempts to add another pic to that view. maybe this is intentional for doubling up pics or something but it was wholly confusing when I did it on accident.
