After playing Lineage since the Mac beta, and having basically done all I wanted to do there, my account will be allowed to expire in mid December. I've had a great time, but I'm done.

No I didn't blow a single thing up or give it all to slimes. It's all still on my account, and if at some point I decide to come back, I can pick up where I left off. But Ken is not what it once was. I logged on a few times on my shop character to look around and I just couldn't find it in myself to take out the Husky, FooFoo and Goniff or the dires and go hunt.

I went to That Game Which Can Not be Named but which is run by an American company that is aware that Macs exist. I'm bow and pet user there of course: some stuff will never ever change. :)

And of course I didn't go alone.

That little guy is Happyfunball AKA Magic8ball, or the guy that I met in Lineage and married in real life. So for all you people who Don't Get It, yes I really am female!

There are a whole bunch of us folks playing there, in the same guild on a particular server.

Anyway, I hope that you guys who are still playing Lineage, especially on Ken, continue to enjoy the game and have a great time. If one day I come back, feel free to say hi. And if I'm on my elf, I'll be sure to skin you!

I've always preferrred pets to summons for events, as summons just fill up instantly and you wind up having to resummon every 15 minutes or chase drops around, so the Husky is getting a good workout.

You can see that he's a con dog:

He's fine now in the Ivory Tower with iron golems. He doesn't hit nearly as hard as a Dobe, but he hits enough, and with all that HP he has a lower risk of dying.

He also talks now...who thinks of this stuff??

I saw this guy in a personal shop, and I said hmmm, I could evolve him and make a little tank for the bunny and the cat:

Now, unevolved huskies are slow...but evolved ones are fast! He has uber HP, gaining up to 12 hp per level. He gets to the mops before the bunny, which means the bunny takes way less damage. I really like him. Here are his level ups so far.

Now to get more scales, as the bunny is next to evolve and then the cat. :)

I used to go months and months without ever seeing one and now it seems like it's a daily thing.

I don't understand why it is that my now level 16 cat

can wade through piles of these guys, get great experience and not be killed. They just don't seem to ever turn on him. They do a good amount of damage to me, but for some reason they leave the cat alone. And I think he must be hitting them as he does get experience off of them.

As he'll hit evolution level first, odds are I will evolve him, continue scale hunting and then evolve Felix. Felix is doing really well hunting with FooFoo, and while he may lose a little experience to his hunting partner, since he doesn't die with him, he comes out ahead. And we get great drops like this one:
