Since the breakup of Panther and my homeless status has ensued, I have been working on my seige prince and today he made lvl 30.

Thanks goes out to Magicme/0SX for the help gettign to the SC entrance yesterday.
Last week while I was also leveling the prince, I helped Pitab get her lvl 30 knight quest done. Or was it 45? I dunno. Either way it was fun. i eventually switched to Xazu to take her from TI caves to the bottom of MLC. For some inexplicable reason she teled out on accident when she got into the room with the key and had to make her way back. This time she had someone help her make her way down through MLC. I waited around and after some walking got a fan club right before I darted into Orim's room.

While I was walkign around MLC I saw this guy whom I have never noticed before.

In other news Xazu has officially joined Cazorp's pledge. It is known as Celtic Warriors. I would like to get either the elf or the mage into Wuss's pledge. Anyone who wants to put a seige character into Vistiro's pledge can wis me in game or leave a note here. He's not a hunting party prince as much as he is a on the spot seige prince. In other words, he's made of hp and hopefully soon, AC. I am still trying to get help with the lvl 15 quest for the prince and I probably cant do the lvl 30 til I get this one done. So, anyone wanting to provide cover in SWL from Lastabads-skels while I hunt BK's is much appreciated.

Well, I think I have forgotten most of what I was going to write but I will do my best going through these pics. A lot has happened and I missed on the WoW open Beta so I will be on Lin a guaranteed two more weeks. :D Also, next time I post I will turn off thumbnails cause I hate this dbl clicking, but I am not about to do this a third time as i just figured out how to turn it off.

The Halloween event was a blast and thanks to Issabow, I (as Xazu) even got to kill a few bosses I would have been a bit troubled with otherwise. In other words, I was dying waaaay too much before I had the help of an NB elf. Here are the lot of the event pics against the bosses.

Well, the event ended and I was fat on zels and dais including a b-version of both. Sooo, of i went to make me some new overzelled items. Both of the B-scrolls went +1, bah. Especially sice i used c-scrolls to safely use them.. but when I used the n-scrolls on items i had extras of I got two pleasant suprises in a row.

Well the event was a blast and then it was time to go off toburn candies. First I hit FV with Pitabtoo i think it was.. anyway.. I got there in time for an apparent two for one deal..

After smacking two Ifrits, it was apparent the risk is not worth the reward.. those blew.
A day Later i hooked up with mr.Xazu, AKA, Cazorp ;D and we went off to hunt IT8. It was a blast and the spawn was relentless. An elf we met up there joined us and we pickde off just tons of mops.. but at the same time.. its not a safe place for one person to go..

What a mess!

The next day i went up there only to be greeted by a Demon. I tried to take pics but that was really hard when he was tossing 200 hp fireballs at me with a cow and ettin and an assortment of DV skells chasing me. Needless to say i rounded up people to go get him. But, Bohuei had carted of the entrance with his Dires and really made it difficult for the rest of us to get to the demon. Even worse.. I was last up and Demon dead before I got in. I did go out and kill some ettins and that SOB cow... oh and Highheaven kept me healed why I smacked a Cyclops too. Thanks for coming to the hunt HH and Rum who I met that night and I think he said something about havign a Kaiser Edo.. :o

OK, now that candies have run out, its time to use the 600+ pots I have collected to lvl prince again. With the upcoming update and release of WoW, I am hoping the castle competition will ease up a bit as they scramble for the new Lastabad fortress. Then again.. I will probably try Wow myself. I just hate the fact i will have to pay money to even try it out for *free*.

OOC: I just recently went through a hellish month that still leaves me wondering if I'll make my rent. Life throws some stupid curves at you and just liek in the game, when you survive things that look hard or near impossible to overcome, especially with the help of family and friends, you just grow stronger. That was this month for me in a nutshell and the good news is, I start a new job in late November! What does this have to do with the game? Well, actually, quite a bit. The major thing is, I probably wont have to quit Lin at the end of this last period I bought. Second, I will be working an entirely new schedule that puts me in time with most of my pledge (and former pledge) friends. I miss a lot of big hunts on weekdays cause I play when everyone else sleeps. If it wasn't for my Aussie friends, I would have little company most of the time. Funny thing is, outside of this game, I would have little reason to spend hours hanging out with kids less than half my age. It puts things into perspective how I understand younger people and just what the hell is going through thier hormone ravaged minds. LOL. OK, they aren't that bad and I was probably worse at that age. I was stuck playing games on Nintendo like Mike Tyson Boxing at 13.. I hope they never take for granted how lucky they are for what they have. Now I officially sound like my parents.. gah.. Now onto my BIG SILLY HUGE INFOMERCIAL of an UPDATE!

First, as any of you who have been following my blog from early on know I have a storage knight named Vistiro who was my first character. I have many fond memories of this knight and he was always fun at seiges. Things really got slow for the old man though and leveling was just insanely expensive for him compared to say my wonderfully amazing DE. So, there Vistiro was happily selling wares in Giran as a shop when i just happened to notice a whisper on the screen: "Hey, will you trade the +5 mage cloth for a +4 Sov Cloak?" Well, I was always thinking Vistiro was meant for seiging.. but this was a sign.. ok it was a guy who needed to trade for lack of cash, but who am I to deny his destiny.. So here is the "Official" In game story of "Vistiro's Promotion"!

It was a balmy day that day in Giran. I (Vistiro) had just made a trade for this shiny beautiful Cloak. I tried to put it on, but something was not right. So, as was the usual for my suave happening self, i went to flirt with the mage twins in the potion hut south of the Cross where they make the mage clothing. So I finally bucked up and asked one if she would like to go to the dog races, but she gives me this answer..

After a few long... seconds, I decided for a new life!

Well, the transformation began... and the re-birth of Prince Vistiro!

Through lots of lvling and hunting red and yellow mops for the last 2 weeks, I now have a new seige pledge called the Mithril Kings! Look for this guy at a dwarf near you!

He just recently made lvl 23, so its not yet time. Right now he is recruiting help for the lvl 15 quest which has been near impossible due to large spawns of Lastabads in SWL. My first solo attempt didn't even make it to SWL as I was walking by MLC and got this newb killing duo... although I venzd and brought back "Thy name is Vengence" Xazu to take care of it.

In SWL finally, i kept seeing all kinds of lastabads. Although I can handle most of them mano e mano, I can't take groups with a pitiful low lvl prince who even buffed is only a dex of 19.

I was lucky to get Blackshot to help my cause, but tradgedy struck and while we were fighting a BK pack a Lastabad troupe with a General in tow made junk of our defenses unprepared for such an attack! It was swift and before we knew what happened, the general had taken us both down. Luckily, I dropped my really only completely worthless item, a dwarf shield! :D Xazu was quick to return and lay down the law. Blackshot came back too and was screaming for the blood of the General. After killing off many a mop near our site of death.. the Lastabads came out of hiding.. One by one Xazu was tracking the General. "You can not hide Devil! Bring out the evil you project of our kind! This De will teach you what it means to be a real Dark Elf!"

and right as i got to the General, along comes a fuming mage with summons in tow to exact his revenge as well!

Since I was on Xazu and had some haste to burn i went to DI for a bit, and once again, what is it that these mops are watching out there??

Back on TI my new prince met with a kind stranger that unloaded some gifts onto the fledgling prince. After a long conversation with the mysterious knight named Voltor he parted with some sage advice on leveling and some general tricks. I'd impart this info if I could remember it all. Its been a few weeks and I've not exactly been able to get into doing this lately.

When Vistiro made lvl 15 he returned to Giran to talk to his lady friend, but she was still uninterested and Vistiro confided in a local on TI about his woes..

Now after a couple weeks of leveling he is now at lvl 23! Almost able to take those castles!

Although the pledge is generally just for seiges and the ocassional hunt group, just ask to join like this guy did!

As per usual, Xazu makes the most of the candy and really loves that brave candy! Next month be looking for Revenge of the Dentists Event!

Then I was invited to a Werldern DM and teamed up with Magicme/0SX and it was a blast!

To finally catch up on this blog.. Last night I took advantage of al this buff candy and went with fellow pledgemates to DI to kill bosses and we spent more time getting killed than killing... so there was a bit of frustration after killing 3 unis only to get owned by more than half the other bosses.

For Sale in Giran - +6 EPM, +5 Mage Cloth

Its been an interesting week watching Vis-Mart unload the junks, but its been more telling that in the end I will sustain the shop by selling roughs, iron, and brings.More than likely I will stop selling brings/irons and craft items from them instead. I will, however, keep selling mith as its highly in demand and sells for a much better price than the other two. So, for all those people wanting b-xbows, I plan on making more of those and possibly b-edo as well. They take a lot of time though. They will not sell cheap.First off random (or not so random) customer pic of the week!

This week included a fun hunt on IT8 after I sent out word of nabbing this on IT7:

BTW - I was in the middle of a heinous Death/Ghost spawn when I teled out with my life and saw I got that drop right before I left! Boo-yah! :D

Soon i was zipping up to IT8 with HighHeaven and Sophy. Nice to have two mages along! They kept me all kinds of buffnutty:

Sophy had to leave after several good spawns and HH and myself persevered. Then I think a mon must have been plotting our demise as we encountered 4 straight spawns on top of each other of these:



I was hoping for a ShadowFang but alas, no luck. :( There is no proof it works too well, but I'd like to do my own test, tyvm!

Also on another day of the week I was in FV for a bit with BlackshotIII and Durnath. Before we made it out though, BlackshotIII drew this to our attention. Did the castle owner just screw up on this or was this for laughs too? Won't this cost money to keep whacking at him? Anyway, it was pretty funny..

Finally, I decided to pony up for a b-zel from Blueberries (who calls Xazu Pokemon, because apparently its a pokemon name. . .) as he had a good, if not humorous price for it. 412345@, original eh? Funny guy that BB is. Also, a lucky guy he is as my +5 mage set went to this:

Now my mage has a +6 set! I have a +5 mage cloth for sale if anyone wants to buy it. You should know where to find it in Giran (hint hint). If you want to trade me for it, send me a letter as I would be willing to make some trades. Actually, i would trade for a str ammy and 200k. My knight could use some more holding power at his sale stand, LoL!
