The end of my political career came suddenly. I can't blame the people of Gludio,
Throughout the lands of Aden, many things have been built, but my town was
still in ruins. Maybe someone else can be a better mayor and cause some changes.

I was left with a hole deep inside. I started wandering around without a sense of destination. The further I walked, the more I became lost. Some silly fights along the way put me back to the start of my current level of training and the next step seems to be further away then ever.

A walk through the forest can open the view into the inner soul ...

The hardest fights are the ones against yourself. Win them and you can win everything.
Time to get back on the road to 50.

Dark elves are famous for two reasons, their unquestioned attack strengths
and their incredible natural beauty. Both aren't a gift of nature but result of
life-long work with the body. Some places underground give opportunites
for both.

In case you ever wondered, why dark elves have such beautiful white hair, you may consider to take a walk into the dragon valley caves ...

Now it's been 10 months that I have been mayor of the town of Gludio.
And many attempts to recreate the econmy of the burnt town have failed.
It was the time to try something else and so I joined a group of heroes
to free Kent castle of the Dark Elven army.

The dark elven army in posession of Kent castle was disposed quickly, however their leader prooved to be a tough opponent ....

After a battle that seemed to last forever, Baras was defeated!

We did it! I was sooooo happy!

Right after the new princess of Kent took her throne, she was confronted with all-day business ...

I really hope she'll do something on that issue.

I went to the town clerks, running there smiling, telling them the good news, but still I couldn't cast the smile on their face that I had hoped for.

Maybe it's time to forget about the secretary and look for a real man out there ....

Yesterday, when I was elected again, a sense of indebtededness
struck me. What do the people of Gludin really expect me to do,
how can I help them.
I woke up from my dreams, sweat all over.

This morning I was looking at the ruins of Gludio, still enveloped in smoke and it made me wonder, what keeps those fires burning, day after day, month after month. The magical powers of the Lastabad army must be beyond everything I can imagine.

Maybe I can find the answers to all of this by doing more research on the nature of fire.
Thus I traveled to the Mainland dungeon that is close to Gludio remembering the tales I heard about the dogs from hell that dwell within it's depths.

There are those moments when the bloodstream is pulsing and a hot headed mind with cold feet seeks a cure ...

I didn't find the answers that I was seeking, but after many fights I came out, body and mind strengthened. Maybe one day I will be strong enough to follow the trails of the Lastabad army and discover the secrets of their magic.

A few months ago I started an unexpected political carreer.
Who would have thought that a dark elf would ever be
elected to the central executive position of a town that
has suffered so much from my race?

I never really understood why the people of Gludio choose me for a mayor first time six months ago, but since I accepted my appointment, I'm doing my best to get some life back into this tortured town.

I still see mistrust in some of the citizen's faces, but as they re-elect me every month, it seems, i must be doing something right to earn most of their trust.

The Life of a politician is boring, some may think,but I might disagree, however one thing that is really boring is the life of people working in the administration.

I've been trying to get a smile of my secretary and the town clerks ever since I was first elected. All they care for is numbers. And when I lowered the taxes down to 0%, those numbers shrunk proportinal to their non existent high spirits.
I hope when my next plans to increase commerce in our town take off successfully, I can cast a smile on the face of that cute secretary.
