Lineage Servers Moved (again)

The extended maintenance is now complete:

All Lineage servers will be brought down for extended maintenance next Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Maintenance will begin at 6am Pacific / 8am Central / 9am Eastern / 1pm GMT / 2pm BST. Estimated downtime is approximately eight (8) hours.

Why? We are relocating all of our servers to a new datacenter. Previously the servers were located in Washington, DC. They will now be more centrally located in the US.In addition, the old servers will be left behind in DC. The data itself is migrating to new servers at the new datacenter.

If the maintenance either ends early or needs to be extended, this will be announced on the website, the forums, Facebook, and Twitter!

NC sets date for first live server publish since 1842

Read it and weap. That's right... We don't believe our eyes either.

14 months since the last significant content update hit the US, and a mere 13 months since Lineage: Part 3, Episode 1 took center stage in Korea, NCsoft announced this week it's planned publish date for Lineage: Part 2 (and a bit) Episode U (That wot we left out last time), which is tentatively scheduled to go live during the maintenance cycle on 24th February.

Seeking New Maintainer

As you will probably have noticed - I no longer have the time required to maintain lineageone.

If you'd like to step up to help maintain the site whilst I sit back drinking cool-aid, please do feel free to flip me a message.

I would have posted this on the boards, but it seems my account self-destructed or something.

Just a few bosses...

Hello fellow lineage blog readers!

 

I've been doing lots of boss checking lately for a secret project. I already realized a big part of it and I'll show it to you in a later post. I must keep the suspence...

 

So, here I go with a few SS of a small fraction of the boss I killed.

The first one contain a special drops from a BigBirdyBommBoom (like once Donky called it, and I found it funny)

Next one is one of the easiest boss to kill as a mage. It has very little HP and you only have to blind him. I must say it's kinda unfair for melee players, but I'm not the one programing the game!

I hunted with a GM!

Hello dear lineage blog readers,

 

So the spring event is on test server. As a good player, I went to check it out so I could give my feedbacks to Nyx and co. There isn't many (enought) players on test server to say it's been fully tested, but what more can I do beside doing my part (and logging on test)? 

I was kinda bored of hunting, the drop rate of the bouquet of flowers is really too low. So, I asked if any of the 6 players on-line at that time would like to hunt lasta 4f. A few players responded on global and the next thing I know...bam! I was on lasta 4f, GMJetzen was beside me. Jetzen teleported 3 more players and we did what I thought would never happend : I hunted with a GM in my party! Needless to say, GM's are just too strong ;).

Random question

After almost every fight Monitor80 or Monitor81 has popped up on my screen and whispered me...
They say they were passing by, watching me hunt (we were really fighting O.O) but they continued to follow me.

A few weeks ago a monitor was following me on Forgotten Island for a entire 1% on my mage with
2 Dire wolves.

Is this happening to anyone else?..... What should I do?
