Is there a maximum value (cap) for Hit Points (HP) and Mana Points (MP)?

Royal: 1000 HP/800 MP
Knight: 1400 HP/600 MP
Elf: 1000 HP/900 MP
Wizard: 800 HP/1200 MP
Dark Elf: 1000 HP/900 MP
