Time again to question our Lineage Guru, NCsoft's Mistryl.

Mistryl, why exactly were the dragons removed from the game?

There were issues with some of the dragons, including AI bugs and possible exploits, so those dragons were temporarily removed and others changed to spawn less frequently:

  • Antharas: active on all servers, albeit with a very rare spawn.
  • Fafurion: active on all servers, albeit with a very rare spawn.
  • Lindvior: disabled on all servers to address AI issues.
  • Valakas: Deathmatch version active on all servers, regular version active on the Lands of Aden server with a very rare spawn, regular version disabled on Depardieu and Ken Rauhel to address AI issues.

The development team is currently working on plans to revamp Antharas, Fafurion, Valakas, and Lindvior.

Anthras & Faffy live on whilst Valakas is far too busy signining autographs, and only appears on stage in the "deathmatch" arena. Lindvior on the other hand was deemed higly un-reliable and has flown off to find a better life in pro-wrestling.
