Do you siege?

I'd siege more, if declared forces would not loose exp. or could not drop items in siege zones. Ok, I understand some people enjoy the fact they can cause bigger damage to enemy by making them loose exp. & items by killing them, but I see that as one factor decreasing many people's will to take part in siege. One or two deaths already can mean several days' worth of playing for non-hardcore player.

I know the rest goes a bit over topic, but my Lineage account ain't active at the moment and saw there were conversation about siege time restrictions. So saw chance to put my opinnion about it in here (someone can also post it in official forum if likes, by Tehu ;)

I gave this suggestion before, but to refresh the memory of NCsoft, I better give it again in case they really plan doing something about it. Added to the point about not dropping items & exp. as declared force in siege zones, I would like to see a bit bigger change to sieging system. In short, every castle would have the same exact randomed siege time. To make it more possible for more players to enjoy the sieges, the random time could be restricted on weekend only. That's because people would have better chance to take part in siege they wouldn't be able to at middle of week. Now, I understand there are also people who work at weekends, but well.. you cannot please everyone :/

What all these changes would bring along are:
- One player/pledge cannot fight in every siege.
- More powerful pledges/alliances fight for the most important castles, leaving smaller castles to less powerful pledges to fight for.
- When siege time is randomed, it gives no one edge for long time, because next time it could be the castle holder who needs to arrange their dayrythm differend if willing to fight for the castle with their full power.
- If declared players aren't loosing exp & items in sieges (siegezones), they fight solely for ownership of the castle, leaving all the nonsense for real PvP. Undeclared players would still be under current rules.
-We would have almost event-like day on the siegetime, because of the huge battles for the castles. Because siege would be once a week at weekend, it would give better chance for people to arrange free time for the siege, even it would be otherwise difficult daytime for them. Sieging would be opened to people that currently are in pledges not powerful yet to fight against large or high level pledges without loosing lots of exp. in the process. Trying would make you loose nothing but some adena for resources to fight and some time, but would give you lots of fun times in massive battles. Also smaller pledges would have chance in smaller castles, when there ain't the same hardcore people fightning for the castle for their allie, who already own majority of the best castles.

Just my thoughts, you are welcom to discuss of these ideas more. Lets make the sieging better and available for more people, thank you.

All the castle my pledge would be able to take have a seige time when i'm sleeping. So i cant go to seige and i'm one of the most powerfull in the pledge, so they have hard time without me. Last Kent seige we tried (it was at 5am est), we had 2 members there.

i siege all I can, trouble is no1 attack us o.o

I'd seige, but the chances of us winning are slim to none and then we'd just loose it next seige no contest, and the being hit all the time as well. (Dep)

Id siege more if the times worked in my favor. But at the moment im just interested in hunting and not pledge politics.
