So, i am over the xp I had last time I went and I decided to formulate a plan "B". This plan includes using a pledgemate (or two as in my lucky case) to avenge the two embarrassing defeats I had at the hands of the Master Assassin. As luck would have it, not only did I get to see my long lost hubby Caz, but he helped me get the assistance of his mage, Jimador. Even better luck, Roo was on to get her into pledge and I was set. But wait, there's more!! Pledge mate ReneePalmer was also in the mood for a daring run by the elven guardians as she had never been in that dungeon. I couldn't have had a better plan! Well, my other option was to borrow Fire rings or 10% rings and no one was giving on that. I don't blame people for not lending, but for crying out loud.. I have been playing the game since Mac Beta and I have yet to earn any kind of rep for stealing anything. I sure as hell wouldn't steal from my own pledge. But I digress, 12 mil is 12 mil and I don't have that. Anyhoo, the avenue I took was much better anyhow. Aside from a few moments of getting lost on my part in the dungeon, we arrived at the access pentagram outside of the Assassin lair. We all buffed up and the mages recharged as we discussed our game plan. In the end I just brought over whatever saw me in small groups to a point near the wall. ( as shown in pic you will see the mages across the wall from me) Eventually, the master saw me and I brought him over. Even luckier was the fact he only had one other assassin with him. Thanks to the carefully timed pledge heals of Jimador and ReneePalmer, I only used 10 clears this time! This, my fair readers( ya you and that other guy), is the way to do this part of the quest! Then it was off to Bludika and I got my boots and Uncanny Dodge spell. Now maybe I can hunt FV a little easier. ~ Xazu

Those two spells are what being a DE is all about. ^^
That part of the quest is off, and on. I've had to help people by pledge healing them (a great plan). But when I went to do the quest, there were only two other Assasins in there with the Master. Keke. I ended both of them, and then ran around until the Master was out of mana to use his Firestorm spell.

Should have been on this morning (3 am CST) I was a wee bit sloshed and I think I passed out while in IT lvl 7. Luckily I came to with a green ghost smacking me, which means I had plenty of time to kill it.
