Will there be a new server in the future?

I think that if any new server would be created it would be a merge of ken and dep. there isnt enough demand to warrent another server when populations are below thousands. there is not enough financial incentive in it . this game is not as popular in the USA / other countries as it is in asian countries in which it is heavily played. what may work is that ken/dep be merged and over time seperate from the mirror for the asian rules. somehow for this game to survive and grow NCI should put action into the advertising of lineage 1, but i dont feel personally that they care that much about lineage 1, but are more focused on their newer games and are counting on the end of lineage 1 someday and that those people from lin 1 move to one of their newer games. then there is the other side of that arguement that says lin 1 is so popular in asia that it will never leave. it is sad to not see any advertising for this game. If this game does end at some time i will not be playing any others. that will be that.

NCsoft have commented in the past that the community had shown no genuine interest, or requirement for an additional server.

GMScout had also stated that she wanted to look into the possibility of a US LiTo service, but we never heard of any progress on this. It's one of the things that made it to the "this would be nice list" but never saw daylight.

It is very unlikely that NCsoft will introduce a 4th Live server to the mix, unless it is part of a larger marketing plan to grow Lineage 1, OR unless it is part of a server consolidation programme.

LineageOne will, of course, keep you posted on any news we hear regarding a change of service like this.
