There comes evenings where I need to mix it up and just find reasons to get really pe'od at NC so out came Zadarach. He's a lvl 41 mage (for the moment cause NC prefers he dlvl every other hour). I never experience that many d/c's except in certain areas when there is a lot of mop activity. IT lvl 6 for instance was always being near death experiences for Xazu and now apparently FV beach is an automatic with the wizard. WTH? I died 3 times last night and everytime it was due to lag/ d/c. The first was a d/c and it was on the beach with mounting mops in attendance. Yeah, dead and I lost more than I should have. NC really aggravated me. I restarted with 99.97%! F-U NC. :( Then I was off to "safer" areas... not so much. Lagged everywhere just not like in FV. I died again while trolling for BK's, but you'd think if anything would lag me it would be a pack of BK's there, but NOOOOOOOOO, it was just two measly spartois! I got "lagged" right as I revealed the things . . . so I had not a chance to tag either so my dogs might save me or anything. After only about 8 seconds everything starts moving again and I am dead and the sparts are wildly swinging in that left over animation to catch up to the moment you are at. Nice, that one really ticked me off. THIS wasn't even a warning period! Its not like it should have been play at your own risk. At least I was up to 14% or more when I died the last 2 times so NC had to really work if they were going to dlvl me this time. So, I started my night at 7% at lvl 41 and finished with 8% and lvl 41 with two less mana points. Great... I NEVER lvl up with more, only less, always less, never more. I have lost 17 hp and I think 13 mp over my many dlvls. Maybe more, I just get sick when I go through it and figure it out. If WoW was public last night, it would have been the last of me on Lin. At least until WoW let me down, anyway. :p

Let me guess....wis/int? FWIW the happiest day of my lineage life was when I stopped leveling a wis/int mage and started a con mage. It takes a lot more lag to end me than my old mage. I had one a few weeks ago where just as I hit an iron golem I lagged out. Came back with 55 hp, but I was alive. I have I think about 200 hp more than my old mage did...

Its not the point the mage dies easily. Its the fact that the game horribly lags sometimes and oddly enough, more so, when I am on the mage. Not sure what part of the DSL/client/computer might be causing this. In any regard, with Ep2 coming I am switching back to the DE til I get the gist of the new update.
