dont really want the loa ruleset even on non pvp but its my choice over all else.
this poll has no clear cut
this poll has no clear cut question, what server merge or potential merger are u talking about. what rules are we talking about, what u mean 2 servers loa or korean err do u mean korean mirror like ken and dep?
eventually i think it would be best to merge all into loa style. my only problem with loa is no global and me starting over. i cant bear the thought of beginning a lev 1 char and leaving behing my lev 64 knight. if i had the option of not playing or starting over i would not play.
the first step is to merge the 2 korean mirrored servers to one then work on a future merge with loa style server. u could have 2 loa style servers. i have not played loa enough to know the many differances but im not aware of what the complaints are about.
global is a pain sometimes but also nice to have.
a merge of ken/dep needs to happen for the survival of both. the pk thing needs to be worked on i think the hell system is a good idea.

If it comes to starting over
If it comes to starting over at level 1, well, I for one would be doing that on another game, maybe WoW. After playing since the beginning of the Mac beta, I have no wish to start anew with a level 1 char and no equipment/money. I think NC realizes many of us would simply quit rather than begin all over again, so I really expect any merge will include an import of our characters and equipment (although there would have to be some character and pets renamed because of duplication between servers). There is also the issue of what to do with people like me, who started out on DEP, and have characters, pets, and equipment on two or even all three U.S. servers -- would we get to pick which of our eight or twelve characters we get to keep? In my case, for example, I would WANT to keep three of my KEN characters and delete one of them in order to also keep my original knight on DEP, so it gets complicated very quickly-and what about items in BP storage? My characters couldn't possibly be loaded with all my stuff, so what would happen to it (8k reds, 8k oj, 10k wis, 4k hastes....see what I mean? I couldn't possibly load it onto characters.) --- VERY COMPLICATED.
And btw...I voted for the merge I found most palatable, even though I would prefer the servers not be merged at all...have you guys been on LOA when 1300+ are on? Tried to hunts someplace like FV? I don't WANT those kind of crowds (no wonder they don't have global...imagine the chatter noise from 1300+). Anyway, just my thought. - now go hunt!

Actually, there is global. It didn't use to be there, and I was unable to play for a while, came back, and global existed. I nearly went crazy for a week or so before I found out how to get rid of it.

i like global....must have global.. but can implement LOA rule set/ items... that would make the game... much easier to play..but keep the som away from the merged server

people on Dep go to PVP server. People on LOA choose which server they want to go to. Who ever has had the name longer keeps the name the other changes. Any questions?
