Korea: Episode 6 and Beyond

What are the plans for next few updates?
At the end of 2006, Episode 6 will be published. (Lineage Korea). In 2007, Lineage Part 3 will begin to publish. Part 3 is currently code-named "Festival". "Festival" will focus on improving the lineage system, the internal structure and architectural design. Also the client and the graphics will be improved further.

"Festival" will contain 4 updates which will be named after whatever part3 is officially called. In episode 6, updates will focus on pets, castles and bosses.

Any plans for an additional class?
There are thoughts about it however; the structure and standings of the new class are still in discussion. Therefore, the new class will not be anytime soon. It will be after “Festival”. Right now the basic idea is different from human, dark elves and elves. In terms of the overall, it is still in discussion.

Lineage 2 is Lineage's past; will the new race be similar to Lineage 2’s? Will Lineage have new Dragons like Lineage 2?
New class is in discussion as mentioned so we can’t say much about it. As for the dragons, we are still deciding the home for them. However we are certain it will not be on the Main Land but in new areas.

Editors note: Previously I think I mentioned about the dark, light dragons and the mother of all dragons. The pictures for the dark was posted on nue but was lost. It was cool.

When Darkelf wields two handed weapons and morphs into Death knight, their attack speed has been penalized. Will this penalty remain in the near future?
Episode 5 has added many new polymorph options and the reason for these morphs is not only for looks but also for what kind of morphs they use when wielding different weapons. To allow more weapons to be used, NC plans to keep the changes as they are.

Any plans on knights having critical effects when wielding dual sword weapons in morphs?
There are no plans as of now but there have been ideas floating around. However, using different weapons to perform different tasks is our main objective for having different weapons.

Any plans for level 75+ morphs?
The majority of our plans are for 45-55 and that is our main focus is there. 75+ is our second priority

Since Kent castle has a boss during siege time, are there plans for other castles as well?
Before the end of this year we plan to update the castles with bosses and dungeons like Kent. The purpose of these caves is for crafting items. The plan goes as follows: Orc Town, Giran, Heine, IGG and Aden. Windawood is still in discussion.

The difficulty in the Sanctuary of Evil is severely high even for group hunts? Are there plans for change?
A8: The outer parts of SOE are designed for level 45 and above players and as they enter, it gets more difficult. However, right now, it seems it is much different than we had anticipated. SOE will be updated as Episode 6 approaches, it will be friendlier and special equipment will increase the friendliness.

“New Pets” (A type of dog), when will it be published?
This new type will be published with the tigers as well. Next month (Korea Test) will start to see them. High Tiger and High “New Dog” will have their own special abilities.

Any new ideas for the Orc race, they seem to have vanished?
We plan to add high level Orcs and Orc bosses into the game. Orcs will gradually change as well.

How’s the difficulty Episode 5’s new area?
Lastabard Tower is appropriate for level 50 and above, SOE is for 60+, the rest of Pirate Island is for 45+. There will be adjustments made to suit the majority of the players (45+).

There are rumours about braves being even more useful than it is now, is it true?
That is entirely untrue, we have no plans to change it.
