DISCLAIMER: I'm providing this story and details prior to completion. This is simply what I'm thinking of trying to do now. It may not be possible to do it EXACTLY like I'll spell out, it may be stupid design and not work after testing, it may be too easy and need to be fixed or it may be too hard (tough, it's supposed to be! lol...j/k...sort of). Anyhow, this is in no way a promise and EVERYTHING is subject to change. That being said...fade out...cue music...action!
In the ancient times, the Kings of Aden were served by Stewards. They acted as counsel to the King and trained the young Princes (and Princesses) to be wise and strong leaders.
With the turmoil and chaos under the reign of the Pretender King, the line of stewards was thought extinguished. But they were in hiding, hoping against all hope that the true royal line be returned to power.
Now is the time, the royal line has begun to make itself known and gathered the forces to lay claim to the throne. The line of stewards have returned.
Okay, so "cut" and drop curtain.

That's the story for those that are interested. How's it work? Well, that's a two parter. There's the way it'll work initially and then it'll change at a later date.
Phase 1:
You'll need to find the Steward's Scroll. It'll drop somewhere, somehow. Maybe ala dragon scales, maybe the bandits have it. Don't know exactly, but it'll be fairly difficult to acquire (not a drop from goblins...well, maybe...) You'll need a 50 or above royal to find the Steward's son, Benjamin, located inside the gates of Aden's castle. Trade the note for the Steward's Pouch (not tradable/storeable and will likely drop from you inventory when you log out--so use it or lose it) and open it for 5 teleport scrolls. These CAN be traded. The idea is the prince should select 5 warriors/mages/etc to go on the raid. Now, these tele scrolls take you into a dungeon. That's right, the Dungeon of DOOM. The mops aren't always up, so you can use a Royal Spy to sneak in and check things out (cool thing is, anyone can look in on the fight). If the mops are up, take your group in and prepare for a whuppin. The majority of players will get whupped because they'll charge in and not use tactics and try and kill everything at once. The mops in there are brutal and will require you to think to defeat them.
If you do defeat them, you'll stand a fair chance at a Diamond Sword drop. There's no solo kill tag requirments or anything like that. The map does drain hitpoints slowly so you can't just hang out in there forever--get in, get your bidniz taken care of and clear out to give someone else a shot. Oh, and it's safety zone for now, so at least you won't be getting XP loss. (Unless one of the group goes rogue PK--but as a Prine and leader you should be a better judge of character, so it'll serve you right...)
Tadaaa! That's it.
Phase 2:
The way it'll be in the future is very similar, except the steward's son, Benjamin, will be located only in castle throne rooms and the steward's bag will give 5 "tickets" instead of tele scrolls. You'll need to take those to the Steward located in the Aden sewers and he'll teleport your group in. The map will become a normal zone at some point in the future as well.
Diamond sword will be a bit less powerful than a TSU, it'll be one handed, give dex and cha bonus of 1, weigh about 90, be blessed and non-transferable. It'll have a minimum level restriction of 50 and likely require lawful alignment.
There's one other element related to the quest, but I'll save that for later.
