The dep database will be copied to the test server tomorrow, prior to the US ruleset being applied. This means that dep players can log into test and play on a copy of their main characters there and test the new ruleset. (LoA on Dep... wierd huh?)

We'll be bringing down the Public Test Server on Tuesday at approximately 10AM to conduct a wipe and apply a Dep database copy.
The server may be down up to a couple of hours (possibly even longer) as we conduct this work, but we'll bring it back as early as possible.
At some point after we've confirmed everything looks as expected, we'll bring the servers back down and apply the LoA ruleset, but we'll make a separate announcement on the when's and how long's of that later.
While everyone in the office is extremely busy, we will make an effort to put some dragons and such on the Test Server this afternoon.
After the LoA testing is complete, we'll wipe the test server once again and enable the extra loot, extra XP, and enable high level morphs for everyone (for a few days at least--not permantly) in preparation for Episode 5 (still a few weeks out from seeing that on test)
Anyhow, that's the long and short of it.

I don't want to sound crazy, but there are wiping test and placing DEPs characters on it or just the accounts??

The test server will become a complete copy/mirror of Dep - including your characters.
It will then have the new US ruleset slapped on it, and ya'll be able to log in and play your dep characters on test to check it out.
