New Bot Reporting Tool!

We’d like to announce a new ingame feature that will allow players to submit a report of suspected bot users to the GM staff.

How to report a BOT
Steps to use:
1. When you see a player you suspect of using a cheat program simply “/accuse” in the chat window
2. You’re prompted with a message saying ‘Choose character to report’.
3. Click the target character.
4. A message confirms the submission.
Character’s level must be 10 or higher to be able to use the command.
To prevent flooding, there’s a one-minute wait time between reporting.

Please note that reporting a player will not automatically result in that player being banned—even if YOU observe blatant cheating. It is required that the GM team confirm illegal activity. While some offending players may “slip through the net” with some reports, eventually we expect it to catch up with them.

Also, I expect the first several days for this queue to be extensive and it may take a while for the GM team to work their way to each report. I ask that you be patient as we begin this new process.

Finally, I’d like to say that we are committed to responding to this issue. We have even further tools in testing to identify offending users.
