In a forum post on the official Lineage boards, CaptSturm has announced his imminent depature from NCsoft.
It is with some sadness that I must announce my imminent departure, as I’ll be leaving NCSoft next week. It’s been a great experience and I’m honored to have had a part in the great universe of Lineage. I am thankful to so many people, both NC employees and so many of the players. The list is too long to list and I’d just end up forgetting some of the great folks as well, but if you’ve ever voiced your opinion in an open minded and constructive way, I’m in your debt (even those with differing opinions…ESPECIALLY those folks!)
I’ve been presented with a fantastic opportunity with another company that I just couldn’t pass up. After much soul searching, I’ve decided that sometimes you just have to shake things up a bit.
I’m working with the staff here to ensure that we have a smooth transition and Lineage is given the proper attention and support going forward. I know that NC remains committed to the product and I’m hopeful that fresh blood on the project can serve to reinvigorate Lineage. We’ll be making announcements and introductions as soon as appropriate, but I did want to tell you as soon as possible that I am departing.

Unless NCA starts to care about the game and gets a staff that wants to support our game. It will never be a good game.
