Why is it that out of all the armor sets the one made for royals is not enchantable. It has jsut about the lowest ac as it is but then they won't even make it a viable option for roylas. Seeing as it can not be enchnated. Can anyone answer why? I know that only maybee one sets even exist but still.

I believe that LinDB is wrong. That set is enchantable. I saw a pair of +5pretend king boots, but DB says they arent enchantable. It really doesnt matter because from what I have seen the poly swings real slow, and if you can afford it you probably already have kurtz/dk poly.

I agree with thinking it's enchantable. I've seen many +5 pretender items in markets as well. As for swing speed, I have no clue as I've never seen it attack anything.

Actually, the swing speed is decent with essence and haste. I would say it is relatively close to bapho on haste and wafer. It's a pretty decent set if you can manage to obtain it on a royal who hasnt already gone above 50. I've seen a few such royals on LoA server. Lonebanger, LadyAdena, and Toad. I don't beleive any of them are 50, although Toad has a 52+ int elf.
