Despite the serious changes in staffing on the "Lineage" title over the past few months, players are still hoping that further content delays will be a thing of the past... however, in a post on the official Lineage Forums, NCsoft's Fracas boldly steps up and gives us the bad news:
I know you guys are hankering to get Episode 5 before Christmas, and I can understand why, but as of this moment I'm suspecting it will take something just short of a miracle to make that happen. I aim to get a better assessment over the weekend and will update you all next week.
The same answer goes for a holiday event.
Whilst expectations surrounding Mr Fracas' return have been incredibly high, we can only hope that he's able to pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat; It may still be possible to pull the content team together and figure out a way to see the US Version of Episode 5 through QA to delivery, sooner rather than later.

but i mean we can live w/o xmas event!! i rather rush up to have everything done by beggining of the year to start a new episode. I knw that mr fracas will make it up to us! its better late than never

At least he has the balls to say we're not getting it. No offense to Capt., but it would've been nice if he would've done the same rather than leaving us all in the dark. As for a holiday event, that can't be too hard to implement. It should take a whole hour tops to re-implement last years event. And I really wouldn't mind that.
Capt left us in the dark
Capt left us in the dark because it was clear he was on his way out. He wasnt at liberty to say so as not to put a strain on the replacement(fracas) that maybe he couldnt come through with.
Its like, what if Capt said, 'Yes we will be doing a repeat of last years event starting (whenever) and also Epi5 will be here on Jan 1st'. But then Fracas came in and had clean up to do and readjustments to the game and couldnt get either the event up or epi5. Then whos fault is that? Fracas, or Capt who already left.
