Hi all, I'm back for the next three months (Roo locked me in a cell and decided to let me out) to talk to you all about Episode 6 (even though we don't have 5 yet...) Anyway here's a little FAQ of episode 6.

Q1: The concepts and levels of difficulties for the upcoming episode 6?
Lineage Development:
The basic idea for the Upper Levels of Lastavard are to create a world for the king of darkness, Girutasu. This place consists of monsters in the range of lvl 65-75. Every sector of the cave contains a boss (or mini-boss), which the players must defeat to enter to the next stage.
Example: After one have defeated the last room’s boss (Dantes), you can enter to Girutasu’s lair where monsters are suitable for level 50+.

Lastavard’s lower level will undergo a change. Due to the curse of Dantes set upon the soldiers, they will be more difficult. We are analyzing and planning to improve the mapping system in the lower level to help players with possible problems with their movement and escape route.
In order to continue where we left off, we plan to finish up the second half of the cave. The graveyard of the pirates is the theme of episode 6 where when the ship reaches the graveyard, they will disappear that’s why this place will be for lvl 40-45 players. (Umm, ok??????????). The cave of desire will be focused on the 4 elements and the demon type monster, the architecture will be similar to the structure of dream island and the AI will tend to attack the support mages instead of the other players.
Episode 6 will be about how Girutasu curses the dark elf. 2007 will be focused on Part2’s improvements and end of 2007 will begin on part 3.

Q2:Are there any improvements on the overall “user friendly” system?
Lineage Development:
The level of player friendliness within cave of desire will definitely improve (whatever that means), the relationship between the tribes will increase which means monster in the cave will become more tribe like. After you finish the quest, it will help with the advance spells. (Editors note: We're not sure, but we think this means they'll buff you and stuff)

Q3: When are the elemental items going to be released?
Lineage Development:
Special Elemental Items will be added as time goes on and we will make adjustment to the current items. The Lastavard bosses’s seal (badge) will be used to make hero rings with difference abilities.
As for the ingredients of the hero rings, it can be dropped from difference types of monsters in the dungeon.

Q4:Are there any new plans for pets?
Lineage Development: After the introduction of tiger and fighting dog , the new pets that are going to be introduced include a physical attack and a magical attack pet. In addition, we plan to make adjustment to balance the current pet system.

Q5: No New places?
Lineage Development: Right now, only the Orc Fortress have the features of mercenaries. As episode 6 approaches, castles will have dungeons and difference types of mercenaries for hire. These mercenaries will have special ability to enhance the playing atmosphere.

Q6: Any new morphs to be announced?
Lineage Development: In episode 5, many changes are made towards the weapon changes. In episode 6, more level restricted morphs will be introduced and more focused on dark elf (lvl 55-70) dark assassin morph. In addition, we will introduce female morph and lvl 80 morphs as well.

Q7: Are there any plans to adjust the blessed weapons?
Lineage Development: We are still discussing an increase the effects on the blessed weapons. Since it only has a small effect on a certain type of monster, we are discussing to improve the effects.

Q8: How many new items are being introduced?
Lineage Development: The new item are still under discussion, however they will appear as time goes on and they might be crafted. The Girutasu weapons will have great effects in the game.

Q9: Are here plans for the caves that we currently have?
Lineage Development: Heine dungeon will be revised again and new quest will be introduced. The new caves will be adjusted as time goes on

Q10: What’s the new magic going to be like?
We plan to have a total of 7 new spells (2 elf, 5 knight). Basically it’s a plan to balance between knight and dark elf. We plan to focus on more of the defensive as to offensive.

Q11: Will the effects of braves and wisdom change at all?
Lineage Development: Braves potions are fairly active so no change will be done at the movement but wisdom effect will be improved (after the changes made to the items) after episode 6 (probably in the end of 2007)

Q12: Will the restrictions on some of the items/spells/summons be removed?
Lineage Development: Due to the power of these features, if the restrictions is removed like (int), unbalance will be created and based on these conditions, it is still under discussion.
