its good to have a new player that isnt a bot.

as a new player, a royal isnt exactly the best choice... they are harder to build and level. they are fun, but its not exactly a character to use as your main unless you can afford it.

if you start i suggest LOA server, and if you do, give me a pm.

on another note.... lineage isnt an easy game on any character. leveling in lineage is how well/long you can grind, and getting money is how well you kill bosses (which isnt an easy task). lineage is about long term gaming.. it took me a while to learn the ropes, but with the help im sure you will get, i suppose you will progress much faster than i did.. just keep in mind that royal is a pretty much dead character to advance with, unless you have alot of loyal minions to do your biddin! haha... well neways good luck.

Have you given any thought to which server you might choose?

I will advise you tho, if you are brand-new to the game, start off with a different character just to get to grips with the game. The royal class is quite a challenge... definatley not a great place to start (but a fun character to play later none-the-less!)

It's true that the Royal class is a harder class to play then the others for the most part but I would say if you want to start with a Royal by all means do so. Every class starts out the same for the most part and as long as you make some friends in game or on here you should be fine if you have any questions. I would recommend if your starting a Royal class go Full con it will help you tremendously as you advance in levels. Full Char used to be a good prince but now with the populations being as low as they are there is no need unless you wants lots of puppies.

Check out Lineagedb.com they have most of the information that you will need to start a royal class such as what each stat does and starting advice.

Aldo we need more roleplaying royals, I would recommend a charisme mage to get some cash for good items 1st before you start an expensive Royal. Or some other high dmg characters to give your main character(Royal)a better start.
I think many started with a Royal, only to find out that its not that easy if you dont have much cash or cant lvl fast. They arnt as good as all the other characters, they are the weakest class, but they can be very fun to play with if you have a nice pledge :)

But if you feel that royal is your thing, you must choose this character, cause what do we know which character you like :D

Btw, dont be tempted into using 3rd party programs, like bots. It's not worth it ;)

I am against the use of bots in any way, shape, or form. You won't have to worry about that from me. I noticed that most of you have said in some way or another that the Royal class is difficult to play when you're just starting out. I enjoy a good challenge because it keeps me interested. If something is easy to play I become bored. Thank you for the feedback, though. I really appreciate the fact that you are very open to a stranger as if you've known them your entire life.

Np =) Lineage is a small game community compared to other new mmo's, so we are always happy to see a new face joining Lineage :)

Have you thought about which server you want to join? I would recommend Lands of Aden(LoA), not because I play on it, but because its the server most people play on, so you'll have a better chance getting people to join your pledge.

And also when you can start playing, tell me your in-game name =)
