Okay, so here's the deal. My sub-50 mage will try to level on 5xf since exp there is reasonable. A friend will try to help me with the risks of lag-death. What I'm wondering is if I should get any other equip or spells at the moment.
Right now I have:
Helmet: +6 helmet of magic resistance
T-shirt: +6 T-shirt
Armour: Ancient robe
Cloak: +5 Silver cloak
Amulet: Int ammy, str ammy, wis ammy, skeleton ammy
Rings: 2x fire, 2x wind, 2x earth, 2x abyss, 2x KG, 2x10%MR, ROPC, ROSC, ivory tower ring
Gloves: +5PG
Boots: +7IG
Shield: +5Book of magical powers
Belt: Shining belt of the mind
When up on 5xf, I'd use abyss rings and int ammy.
For spells, I have all EXCEPT the following:
Spellbook: Fog of Sleeping (level 9)
Spellbook: Freezing Blizzard (level 10)
Spellbook: Curse: Paralyze (level 5)
Spellbook: Lightning Storm (level 9)
Spellbook: Decay Potion (level 9)
Spellbook: Silence (level 8)

Spellbook: Absolute Barrier (level 10)

Now, can anyone think of any item or spellbook that would be useful to get? Also, if you can, can you include the going price on LoA, if you know it?
The ones I can think of myself are dark elder sandals, merkyor cap and black wiz ammy, and I'd imagine they're all +100m.

Yea Lvl 30 mage quest is not tat hard n I dont think its restricted to b done b4 lvl45. I think u can do it now also. the only thing is u can due the quest once in the chars life time

Also, many of the spellbooks you mentioned are not in game. (like it says)
You should be set to TU some elmores. Everything looks good. The only change I would make... Most mages tend to use elemental gloves instead of power gloves. You trade 1 str (which you dont need unless you melee alot, which isnt 51f) for 1mp regen and 1ac.
And if you venture on to a floor with wizards, wear the 10% rings instead of the abyss.
And CSOM is what I would use to.

I think the three items u specified arent 100m+. I saw merk cap for 24m once n blk wiz ammy for 7.2m. Dont know abt elder sandals. If tat is costing the rest of the money for 100m. 0.o

Merk Cap, (+1int cap) is 100m on Ken. Black Wiz Ammy is around 140m. Elder Sandals are that high if not more.
You may be thinking of a different necro cap, and maybe beast summoner ammy?

Okay, got myself +5 elemental gloves, selling my +5PG's (with str buff, it's the same carrying capacity anyway).
Anything else? Is it worth abandoning silver cloak for cloak of mana? Or any other adjustments you'd suggest?

A lot of those spells that are called "Not in game" were planned and make up in Lineage beta, but because different spells as development of Episode 3 came along. You can even see that they have the same icons as the modern spells.

You could get a mana cloak, but it depends on how you hunt. The silver cloak is an awesome item and I wouldnt sell it for a mana cloak. The mana cloak will just give you 1 more mp regen (and prolly at least 1 more ac because +6mana cloak is same price as +5sc.) I wear Mana cloak most places, and then switch to SC when I need the mr. Against Canceling elmore wizards/lesser dragons/dvc/81f+ etc..

I wouldn't sell my +5SC, no way. But I did contemplate getting a cloak of mana. I can't get one from the quest, since I don't seem to get the skeleton key drop for lvl 30 (saddening) and you have to do that quest before lvl 45. But I could always buy a mana cloak (but would probably not shed out for a +6).
The level 30 mage quest is
The level 30 mage quest is real easy. Just make sure you TU the skel in the TI cave 1f. They look like skeleton gaurds. I think it took me like 5 skels to get the key.
