widows vista

i just got a new pc and it has windows vista os
it says lineage can not be run on vista
is there any way to play lineage on windows vista ?

I'm running Vista right now, and playing lineage properly.
The only thing that's weird is the Location Tag (bottom left corner) is somehow much larger than it was in Windows XP.
But it runs perfectly fine... with little problems here and there.
Problems i've encountered with Vista + Lineage:
- Tends to lose the ability to type if you Alt+Tab too much
- Tends to freezes at login screen when you use backspace a couple times, but does not happen that often.
- Slower load time :)

Just thought I'd mention that it's Vista exclusive, it can occur on Win XP too (although not for most, I've gathered).

Seems like Lineage is not 100% compatible with some newer processors, such as Intel Core2Duo, Pentium D (Weird thing is that it only happens often on D805, but not D930, 940, 945, 950), some AMD Athlon 64 (and X2) also. If you're using something like a Pentium 4, it wont. Probably Lineage wont take newer 14 stage or less instruction steps, but works great on 20 stages (Pentium 4s)

Nope cant run it but I don't think its a problem with Vista I think its a problem with the new Nvidia drivers that I'm having. I'm also Dual booting with Freespire using wine to try to play but not having much luck with that either. I remember that Lineage use to be Linux compatible but I can't find anythign on it anymore. If anyones got anything or knows how to setup lineage in Wine let me know.
