Resistance Village Expansion (Part II)

Today we decided to go a different direction in the new Resistance area. You start off going to the same spot, but then we branched off to the left instead of the two right. What we found were much harder mops including nasty versions of Medium and Large Oums. They at least changed the looks of the Oums slightly instead of just changing the names.

Basically the same rules apply here, you advance from one room to the next by either killing a gate guardian or a boss when you reach that point. Unfortunately, we did not make it to any bosses on this side. We ended up in a Jail Room with litterally dozens of middle and large Oums. It was a lost cause from the beginning.

This area introduces some new ranged mops, including one that throws knifes for a while then closes in to melee and another that casts eruption for a while before coming closer.

The main thing to report today is that there is a reason to hunt this new area (YAY! I was starting to wonder after yesterday).

On the more difficult side an Assassin of Blood gave us a Belt of Darkness. The belt is dark elf only and has 1 ac and +3 dex. Very nice, in my sometimes humble opinion.

Back on the side we visited yesterday, we got our first drop from one of the bosses. The Brigade Commander Dark Fencer (the first boss you encounter) gave us Two-Handed Sword of the Pretender King which is 16/20 +1 hit +2 damage. Not great, but not bad with yet more knight skills on the way that require the use of a two-handed sword.
