Is it SP, Int or level that determines my propability???
Id like to get a definate awnser some day.
Answer
I'm sorry to say that we've asked and we've asked and we've asked and we've asked. It seems that either:
OR
All we *can* say is that we believe it is entirely based on the combination of INT and Level.
It's worth mentioning that others belive that ODD SP helps, some believe that holding a raw carrot whilst chanting does the trick. Please do feel free to let us know your opinion!

Most people have different
Most people have different opinions on this subject. Since NC never gives us answers, we can only go from what we find out ourselves.
What we know for sure is that INT and Level both directly affect TU rates.
Others speculate that SP can also affects it. I tested this theory with CSOM, Lasta Staff, Black Wizard Staff, and Wis potions. I could not come up with any sure evidence that 1-4 more SP affected TU. Rates all seemed to be around the same with any combination of the above tested items. (Test was done on level 50 mage with 18int against OWL Elmores. Feel free to test yourself if you disagree with these results. We would love the input.) A level 53 mage in my pledge swears that she can tell a difference with Wis pots over not using wis pots, against Elmores on 51f+. She has 23int.
INT and Level can not be the only factors however. Because an Elf and a mage with the same INT and same Level, do not have the same TU rate.
So... Either mages get a bonus to their rate, or elves get a negative to their rate, based on their class. Other factors that could affect this difference, other than class, could be Magic Level and Magic Bonus. Both of which a mage will have more of than an elf. This could be one way to explain the difference.
Really its all speculation at this point. Everyone you ask will have different explanations on what truly affects TU rates. The only thing that is 100%, is level and INT. So raising these two factors, will guarantee a raise in your TU rates.
It's Magic Bonus that
It's Magic Bonus that affects the turn undead rate. Magic bonus is affected by level, int, and class. Hence why an Elf and Mage of same int/level have different rates. Also why it's virtually impossible for any other class to TU, their Magic Bonus simply isn't up to the task. It's not Magic level since an Elfs and Mages magic levels remain constant regardless of int. Or that's the way I've come to understand it.

Well, my mage is not a very
Well, my mage is not a very good example of a mage but I do know this:
She is a level 49 int/wis mage and her TU rocks! She rarely misses.
She has tested with the raw carrot, wis pots, csom & BW Staff....
Her conclusion was: Wis pots definetly help (but then you can't have HW to run away from meanies on 51f+), staff dun seem to matter as far as casting TU, she was hungry from yelling at bots in OWL so she ate the carrot and last but not least she loves the stats on KG ring atm!
:)
PS...Sk8 usually has it right. I dunno how he knows so much but he just always has answers that fit correctly!
TU has such an unpredictable
TU has such an unpredictable success rate that it is very difficult to tell what actually affects it. I feel that Ved is on the right track as far as MB. From my experiences (lvl 60 wis/con/int mage) I can pretty much say that wis pots (or anything else that adds to SP) really don't affect the spell. It is possible that level differnce affects the success rate but I don't have hard evidence to back it up. For my first three stat points I added to int which made a huge difference in hunting TOI 3x and 5x. However, I added the next 5 stat points to wis and it seemed (notice I said seemed) that my success rate was a little better after five levels.
Another thing that impacts TU is the MOPs MR. You can easily see that in OWL with turn rates between soldiers (0% MR) vs generals (10% MR) vs wizards (50% MR). For TOI 3x and 5x, time of day makes a little bit of a difference. MOPs there seem to spawn with varying MR (IMO) to add a little twist.
One last note. If you read the Answers to Vets Queations in one of them you will see an answer that Melantis posted saying that TU rate is only affect by Int and level (i.e., MB). Keep in mind that not all things that NC has told us is true and that things might have changed since then.
Yep, Melantus also said you
Yep, Melantus also said you couldnt bzel +5 to +7 (safe +4) =/ But we know you can.
I am not sure on the varying MR, but I know for a fact that at night they hit harder and are harder to TU.
