NC is not supporting Vista yet (this is true)
I have been play lineage on Vista since the first beta.
It tell that it is not supported in the OS, but you can run it.
Tell is to ignore and launch anyway.
No when you do this you get errors with lin.bin
Let lineage close.
Right click on the lineage Icon and run as Administrator.
(OPPS another nagging windows window)
(Click on) Allow this program to run
the first time you do this the firewall will also ask to allow this application.
after you get through all that. Close lineage.
Right click on icon - run as - allow (in the screen)
Enjoy playing.
It seems to have better network connection in Vista when playing Lineage!
Have fun!
Yea I played Lineage with
Yea I played Lineage with Vista all the time Just set the game to run as adminstator the make it play in Win Xp service pack 2 mode and your set. Never had any problems
The sure fire way to make it
The sure fire way to make it play is as follows. I should of posted in first one but didnt have time.
When you install Lineage it makes a shortcut on your desktop get rid of that one. Then go to the actual folder lineage is installed in.
Right click ok the Lineage.exe program and go to properties set the game to run in win 2k mode and to run as administrator. Hit apply
Then make a shortcut off of the newly modified exe file and put where ever you want.
Every time you start the game right click on the shortcut and tell it to run as Administrator and you should have no problems.
Hope this helps.
