I am amazed that more people do not use this invaluable tool, not
only does it add a new dimension of depth and closeness to the "world"
but it gives a tatical advantage never before had in the gamin' world.
(well .. there was the old school 'Roger Wilco' back in the day we used with Mech Warrior .. that was more complicated than TS now.)
I'm not sure if it's because not many people know about it or if more people are so conservative (or just plain shy) that they don't want to change (or try something new) their gamin' ways.

I did sign up and use it when it first came out.
I can't use it because it lags me and I personally like the old-fashioned way of doing things. Party chat, pledge chat, wis, shout...
but I suppose for some it is good. I was totally confused on who was saying what to who so I stopped using it.

Sign up .. o.0 .. Lag could be an issue, I know ppl who can't use it cause they have only one comp and are on dial-up .. that blows. I see you fall into the 'Ima do it the old school way' catagory .. nothing wrong with that eh .. some ppl just like to type ^^ . The voices .. I agree with ya there, It takes some time to "learn" everyones voice .. a few day at least after that might as well be sittin in the same room. When the main channel gets lotta people in it .. hunting parties break off into sub-channels, that helps. I suppose if your into politics/siegin' it helps with security as well.

I use t-s all day on lineage fun to sit and talk to people while you hunting even you not hunt same place, share the happynes then you get or the get a good drop.
Faster to call some to come help you if you need a hand whit a boss.

Ventrillo actually makes
Ventrillo actually makes software for Macintosh whereas teamspeak has to run on third-party software. There are a few options as a result that are available to Mac issues exclusively through Ventrillo.
However, for my purposes Teamspeak works just fine. I talk. You hear. You talk. I hear.
That's about all I need it for and the third-party software provides it with absolutely no tax issues. I don't need it to pick up the empty beer cans on my desk or wax my car. I just need to know when I say a boss is up someone on the other side heard me.

Here's a thought.. Mac's are worthless.. i don't care what anyone says about the itunes and all the junk that comes with a Mac... it doesn't matter what you put on a Mac, i can build a pc for cheaper that can out perform the most expensive Mac out there..
