Should they give Lineage a 3D client like Lineage 2?

It's worth noting that this was done a long time ago, under a project named "Lineage forever".

The guys that worked on the "Lineage forever" engine are the same folks behind NC's new title "Aion".

If I wanted 3d lineage I would play Lin2 =)

lineage is fine the way it is instead of changing the graphics maybe they shoud figure a detection method of 3rd part programs for bottong and stop them and get rid of the ones that we have!!!

i personally think it'll be a hit if lin1 had lin2 graphics, i`m always looking for a game with the enchanting system like lin1 and graphics like lin2. the only game i found similar was rappelz

Thier was this 3d clip of a female knight that did a couple of swings against a goblin or sumtin.. but later found out it was just a april fools joke or sumtin QQ but that vid look nice

That wasn't a april fools joke. That was a real video. 3d would totally destroy this game and what it stands for....

They would have to change to many things that we enjoy about the game to add a 3D look. They could go to the 2D look that plays off 3D.

Well said, Sk8! If I wanted 3d, I too would have went to Lin2. I know I'm dating myself here, but I started out on games like Bard's Tale and Wizardry...you know, when computers came with stone tablets, and I still prefer 2d look-down graphics.
