mage cloak needs more MR, or it's still worse then BCOMR for the bosses, take off the elemental MR and add 10 more general MR

The mage cloak is fine. Unless you just have a ridiculous build, you are going to gain MR from the wisdom in addition to the MR on the cloak.

You are getting 15 MR from the cloak.

A 16 wisdom mage is going to get 7 from the cloak and 12 if they add a wis ammy, too. That's 22 (equal to +6 bcomr) or 27 MR.

An 18 wisdom mage is going to get 11 from the cloak and 18 if they add a wis ammy, too. That's 26 (equal to +8 bcomr) or 33 MR.

Looks great! Mages get higher base MR too don't they? I think the cloaks are looking great. However, (sorry for going off topic) please increase drop rate for Baranka Claw! Its not dropping at all on test.. As a DE, it is the only item of interest as we can't use Bapho Staff, Mambo Coat, or DK sword. Baranka Claw or any other weapons in that matter shouldn't be as rare as Disintegrate. These items perishes as it blows with enchantment. And I would really hate to compete with some bot who has billions of adena in trying to purchase from some lucky player who obtained the drop. Honestly, its just not fair at this point. And really, I know noone really spoke about this but when the Lich Robe that recently were dropped on Ken got sold to a bot, it explained everything. Its just an example of how legit players are just getting screwed from enjoying high end content. I remember many mages who were saving alot of adena to purchase Lich Robe. Some of these mages are hard core players and were sure they had enough to pursuade a seller.. It is just a big disappointment that this bot will someday be banned and such a rare item like Lich Robe would be lost from Ken.

As a DE player, I know for a fact that at least two +8 kedo were used by bot players who were eventually banned. They obviously outbidded me in obtaining the +8kedo. While I'm really proud of the achievement NCA has made towards banning Bots in recent months, it doesn't change the fact that those +8kedo will forever remain in those banned account. We just want some chance at upgrading our weapon whether for those who own +7kedo or those like me who's been stuck with +9bclaw/bedo for few years.

So coming back to my point... I donno why Baranka Claw isn't dropping much on Test.. perhaps more Baranka needs to spawn or maybe probability of Claw of Baranka to drop need to be increased. Whatever the solution is I hope Claw of Baranka would at least drop as much as Bapho Staff or DK Sword on Test cause right now its just not dropping enough.

Everytime I go to the island I see a half dozen or so Barankas just walking freely around the island while everyone kills the other bosses.

Great job, well balanced, looks like it will be a wonderful event. Now I have to move the BBq inside x.x , or the computer systems outside. Ugh! Well that is if the event is next week o.o`

thats cause baranka isn't worth the time to kill right now. its dropping nuttin.. as opposed to other bosses that are dropping nice stuff..

I should have been more clear.

I suspected that was the problem, but I don't think the solution then is to spawn more Baranka to be just left unkilled. It sounds like Baranka, like the other bosses, is dropping the way he usually drops in the game.

That being the case we need NC to take a look at his drop rate and let us know if he is supposed to actually drop something ... ever. If these items do drop and they just are not dropping commonly, they should add a common drop for the event to make him worth killing. That way you could get some BBS or adena or something with each kill and have the chance of getting the really nice item as well.

how do u make the cloak fancy?

I hope there is a like a week or at least 3 day notice before event goes live.. Its difficult for some of us to participate in event if we don't schedule our time accordingly... really.. please give us a longer notice then 5 minute before reset.. thank you.

Yes a few days notice to the event time would be great. It's summer time, and some people to go out and play o.o`. If you would please some heads up, give us 48hrs.

Actually the fancy cloak is used by anyone the is lvl 39 and above on test. Not sure what it will be once it goes live,but when i died last night you loose your haste from the cloak so you have to take it off and then rearm it and i was lvl 40 ,and it told me the i could not use that cloak because i was above lvl 39 so i had to go kill the fuzzy bunnies to gather the goods to make the fancy cloak.

The cloak looks great!!! Can't wait for Wednesday so that I can make my cloak and hopefully be able to level faster and make lots of adena.

actually Sk8 the Fancy cloaks are lvl 39+.. once u hit lvl 40 recollect the required ingredients (carrot parts) and go back to the crafter and she will make ur cloak =>
