I figured I'd challenge the jinx fairy and share with you my plans for the next few weeks.
August 1st - August 8th :: Polymorph Event
A week of unlocked polymorphs for you lowbie solo'ers with a hankerin' to hurt.
August 15th - August 22nd :: Illusion Event
A week of cheap illusionary scrolls and cheap illusionary items to use them on. It's been awhile since we've done this one.
August 29th - September 5th :: Double EXP Event
Last time it came at the last minute and only lasted a weekend. This time you have a month to kill and a week to partake.

Nice on the events, rrr but still peeps gonna get a little tweaked here where they are hosed at this one, I can see it now. So, before anyone else says it, I will, what about just dropin the Poly Event now for them "Lowbies ~ Soloers" that are hosed for this one so they can get the 50% of this event back they are hosed out of since they cannot get to the Boss Island deal, but can gain a cloak to get them a little better stats to at least level a bit with something decent for a cloak n stats.
OH! almost forgot everyone my Wife wanted me to say goodbye to you all that know her on DEP (Sweetslady) she quit today my kids dropped their accounts too.

With another custom event (Halloween) and Episode 6 coming up, I figured now was the time to treat y'all to a flurry of events before retreating into my development cave for awhile.

It looks like all the ones coming up are simple "We've-done-it-before-just-flip-a-switch" affairs that they can throw up, presumably WHILE they are working on the big stuff.
It appears elves will be
It appears elves will be getting much of the love the next episode. Knights and De's also get a few upgrades as well. Spells for the Knights and the 55+ De's can make use of the new morphs. Any chance there is a firewall fix in the works at all?

Dont get me wrong... I didnt get to 52+ with out the help of the occasional poly event or exp event... One exp event I pushed through over 60% of level 51 in 3 days...
But it sucks when those of us that earned the poly's get our advantage taken away from us... I am all for a poly event or a exp event, but at the same time is to much. Especially if they are very long.

For poly event, how about
For poly event, how about making you able ot use poly for your level plus 5 or some other number. That gives players of all level a nice boost. Does that solve the distaste held by many high levels for DE/DK poly events? As far as I know a poly event has not been tried this way (at least not since '02 ish)

After 55 its just a color
After 55 its just a color change. The higher level polies are of such little difference that there really isnt a point in using one over another... accept to look cooler... So its not really a boost. But it at least let you see what you are working for, that next poly.
And there is very little difference in the 55 polys over the 52 polys. I still prefer using DK/DE cause they sexy. o.o

Illusion event sounds
Illusion event sounds awesome. I have never been in one either. I would rather have a lot of small events like these than a big Halloween event, where everyone turns on each other for drops.

Swinging at 55 verus 70 is big difference.
52 and 55 is the same or about the same but I also agree that 52 is just more sexier v.v

I am not sure if you are aware.. but DE will never get any upgrade nor has it got an upgrade for awhile.. it has always been a nerf... the new morphs that you are talking about is a nerf to swing speed from what I hear (i belive it gets more stun lock).. you should already be aware of this from the current DE morph which swings alot slower then DK.. and gets alot more stunned.. once those new morphs are out the DE class will swing alot slower in the normal 55/60/65/70 melee morphs.. and will have to rely on the new ones that are released in epi 6 which really suck from what i hear and have seen in videos compared to the current swing speed DE gets in the melee morphs.
To Fracas: I hope that the events are released on those said dates as well =)
Im sorry I was a little slow
Im sorry I was a little slow on the draw but how is it ppl say DE are complete nerfs? Ever consider they were made too strong to begin with? If any 1 char can completely destroy another char only based off of its insane attacks I think there is something wrong. DE complain so much it makes me sick. Even though the new dark elf morph may swing slower. The pure damage a de does still out weighs it. Its not even close to a knight. I thought the knight was supposed to be the "strongest" char. Finally they are rebalancing the game and getting some things right.

Well I suppose upgrade was not the best term. I meant the DE's were just getting a change in Episode 6. I do not follow DE information that much as I really do not play one. Damn I am so tired today stayed up too late last night from the event lol

Thank you for keeping us updated with future events. This stuff is just flick a switch and run. You can now focus creative energy on Halloween event. Then after that EP6 as an early XMAS present for Lin 1 addicts like us :)

I like the idea of knowing whats coming up as in events , but are they really going to be that long each or are they going to tweeked and then everything nonexsistant like this event, but the ideas a really good so keep up the good work.

fracas bring back the orignal drops for this event im sry but i think that 14-16 hrs hunting in a party with no drops is a little no no ALOT of noticible!!! nobodys getting anything now ppl have actually gone back to lvling not like its a huge deal i mean more bosses for us but whats the point when u kill a mop like the pho we killed last night that was COMPLETELY empty??

The other drops are fairly much non-exsistant now too , 14 hrs last nite and another 4 today i haven't seen a drop in any of my parties , so I'd say they are pretty noticable

Ill probably just lvl my mage thru the poly event and maybe get some exp on my prince.. during the illusion event ill just have my fun blowing some illusion items O_o and ill totaly be on hard core during exp event :)

couple more months, i cant wait to see whats instore for this years halloween event, i thought that last years was pretty good, except for the way that ppl hogged the mops, tagging 2 or 3 at a time, i hate to see the greed that develops during the events, but i play to have fun and MAYBE get a good drop, im happy getting the bdias and bzels, zels and dias, i have fun trying to get cloaks and other items to go decent ac's.. i love it..

at least not if i want to get to lvl 50 and be safe by halloween... granted there exp in tos is great but its always so full of ppl and the drops are so far and few betweeen, id much rather have those mosters drop some kind of adena every time u kill one.. u know at least 200-300 adena.. make it worth it to hunt there u spend more money in pots then u get in return..

The event schedule looks pretty appealing, just wish the exp event was sooner so that I could get to 50 quicker. In fact, I should be very close to or already lvl 50 before poly event. The events still should be fun.
