First and Foremost Hello everyone (First post here)
I have a number of questions actually if anyone cares to take a stab at a few of them for me I would appreciatte it, first a little background I played lineage from 1999-2004 quit to play lineage 2 and the Guild wars and the WoW and came back about amonth ago, I have a 50 dex elf and a 49 knight but rolled a Wizard this time who is 48 right now.
1. I see so many Int elf's now-a-days and back when i played last that was unheard of are they realy that good/fun to level or only after 50. I am thinking of making one I like the whole b2s-vt concept it is somewhat like a mage with unending mana regen, well the concept at least. I see elf's hunt 41-50f of TOI where I hunt on my mage and they seem to blow right by me in terms of killing even with no pets are they really that good?
2. I know all the new king items add to mp regen and HP would this be a good set to use on a elf something along these lines for gear:
+7 Helm of new King
Int Ammy/Str Ammy
+7 ets
Ala
+5 new king cloak/bcomr/cop
shining belt of ??? (+50 mp one)
+7-9 BKAT
+7 Boots of the new king
+7 gloves of the new king/ +0-5 pg's
Going Fire that seem ok? I only ask cause Int elf's hp is low but all the new king gear adds to HP by
5-10hp per item so I could still get over 500 with belt and all at 50ish which is far fetched but possible.
3. what are the stats on pretender king gear? since new king is Mp regen and +hp is pretender king gear something like this also, or even usable by elf?
4. I was wondering if anyone can give me some good suggestions on leveling this Int elf say 25+, like for instance.
24-32 use +7-9 hbow in Oren
32+ once u get v-t hunt fire valley till 40
40+ go toi and hunt xxxx place..
Just kinda like a tip on places int elf's level to 50 or so, (sorry been gone awile and trying to get back into the swing of things, bots new places everythng changed just trying to catch up to some friends so we can hunt together) I know also that TU in 51+ is not to bad even on a int elf it is just after you get over level 57 and can max out int is probably when it gets good.
5. I only know of one item elf's can use that adds to int and that is int ammy can you tell me anymore besides int ammy and the +2 int ammy?

Everything listed above gear wise I already own not worried about the gear, I am more worried about places to level and such.
Like i mentioned I have the above gear but on a Int elf i was thinking I dont need Bracers and BOE if I am gonna be using melee and not leveling with a bow, but I am thinking about more melee/magic combo more than anything and need some advice on leveling a Int elf and places where it is good for a decently geared Int elf to level.

You can try the Temple of Shadows - it's pretty good hunting in there experience-wise... esp if you're using a bow.

Thanks Roo, I was thinking more along the lines of the lower levels though I made my Int Elf yesterday he is currently level 25 and I wanna try to get to 45 at least as soon as I can so I am trying to figure out good spots from 25-45 I will worry with temple later thinking more before then.
Leveling 25-32 I was told last night do oren wastelands till I can get b2s and V-T combo.
Once i get 32 and have b2s and v-t where should i go then I was thinking usinf elemental falldown and using b2s and v-t in fv since i am going earth prolly be best.
whatcha think 32+ hit up FV and go from there?

Isnt VT Water based? so wouldnt you wana go water in order to use that elemenmtal falldown since it will lower the targets water element..
and I think fv or dv would be ur best bet at those low lvls..
also you shoulda made ur elf 18con and then added int after 51.. that is the best build in my opinion
its not too late to start again and starting august thier will be a polymorph event (dk morph unlocked as well as dark elf) and later in the month will be an exp event.. so if I were you.. id restart the elf and make it 18con base and lvl to past 50 for the int...
its very ez to lvl in this game.. you just need patience and commitment to 1 character

I have a 18 con elf already 2-3 days away from Bapho, The hp is deffiantely good but added to int for him will mean i have to level to 64 to reach 25 int which is my goal on my Int El. The method behind my madness was there is so many items out there that add to Hp Tarak's, new king gear, belts etc.... but only 2 items in the game elf's can use to add to Int, +1 or +2 int ammy ONLY, there is no gear out there whatsoever for int elfs besides the same ala all other elfs use, elven sword of sorcery with +sp/+int was taken out of the game we cant use int caps or any of the other int items so we are left with int ammy's and good ole fashioned leveling or elixers if we are real lucky, but that is afar fetched for me.
That was the only reason i went with the Int elf over the con elf ya hp is great to have but I like the whole b2s/v-t thing and it does not work well on my con elf.
Give me your reason on the whole con then int erasoning, the hp is the only thing i can think of and i know an int elf on loa level 57 that has as much hp as a con elf in our pladge with 18 con and level 56 because of items, but he his int is just now at like 17 or 18 with int ammy where as the int elf is at 25 int with 650+hp and is now adding to dex for more ac.
I am 100% open to hearing valid reasons why one is better than the other so please feel free to explain.

Int will lead to better heals .. better nature blessing heals.. better chance at success rate of curse spells coupled wit erase. And you wont see the benefit of the int till u are 60+
it will be the best pvp char for awhile unless some major nerf happens
u c ur enemy.. bind.. then erase cancel.. then erase para.. then bind again.. then erase w-b.. it will work so well on those who have krazy mr.. and finish em off wit a few triple shots.. or elemental fall down and a few elemental magic attacks..
I wish I had an con + int elf =(
int elves are ok but they
int elves are ok but they are geared towards bot chars and high lvl PvP chars... if you aren't gonna do either of those then an int elf is a waste of time.. new king items are suck on anything but a heal slave so don't waste your money or time 500hp at 50 is pretty much out of the question even with all hp items, i just don't see that happening
