At this time it is not possible to view your actual karma level in-game. It is believed that such features will be available in Episode 6.

Keep track of how many you
Keep track of how many you kill. Or estimate based on exp gain over time. Each monster in Shadow temple gives around .0041 I believe? And they are each 2 karma.
Mostly it is just keeping track of it until the meter comes in epi6. If you lose track, keep killing till you hit level one. (Keep asking the NPC if you have enough) and then when you do have enough, you will be on track again.

When you have enough for
When you have enough for level 1 the npc on the far right hand side at the top of Temple of shadows will give you the option to teleport to SOE, that is when you know u have gotton enough for level 1.. or else he would just say grrrr i think..
After that its all based on counting or estimating untill that npc in episode 6 is released.

Sk8 & Prominence is right, when the guy stops saying grrrr, you can get your lvl one. I just got mine last week and it took me over 40% at level 58. (Not sure level matters lol)
