Elf

I cant decide on what i should be, i want to use a Bow so im told dex, but i want hp so i dont die easy, i thought of splitting, but if i get to level 40 then with 18 dex its -10 more AC so please help me, sorry for being a noob. I should be playing in about a month if im lucky, name will be Zabek

My con elf is lvl 47 atm, and my dex elf is at 49 atm. they share gear and i find it easier with my con elf hunting. the extra hp really helps out in my opnion. my suggestion is to do some sort of split or go full con, especially if you plan on lvling this char very high.

Always always always start as 18con base :) u wont regret it in the long run.. more hp = better chances you can survive tougher places.. and later on when ur 50+ add to int. all the way or mix it up wit a few dex if you want or even wis if you want higher mr so you can wear mr and er at the same time.. but If I were you Id add int then dex or wis AFTER lvl 50 being 18 con base


I agree. No matter what

The only way to start is full con. You can not make up HP later on. You can make up str, you can make up int, you can make up dex, you can make up charisma.. But if you dont start full con, you will always be around 200hp less than you could be. And those that say AS and hp items make up for it, it doesnt. They just take the place of items you could be using to better AC or MR or other things. And, you could always use those same HP items anyways, and just have that much more hp.

Sk8 is absolutely right.

That being said, I am a dex elf and I am not remaking. I just don't have enough play time. I still have great fun playing, and sometimes compensate for the low con using things like an sbob, gop and so on, but even with those items, at level 51, I max out at about 475hp. Dex elf is playable and fun, just don't plan to be the point tank on a dragon hunt......

Always start con/wis on mage, always. And then add what ever stats you want passed that....

My con/wis mage is level 50. And I plan to add int at 51 and 52 to up his heals (hes a heal bot) and then wis from then on to 24wis (regen and mr, perfect heal bot), then int to 25int(at this point he wont be a heal bot so much anymore... he will be stronger than my tank), then charisma...

But anyway dex is gona level a little faster at first and you will have more ac. Also if you always have a tank with you then its great but lineage really doesn't work like that and more ofted then not you will be soloing while leveling. So the extra hp really helps. Also like others have said if you plan to level past 50 you can always add the dex later and get the same ac bonus as you would but you will have alot more life and can play any style that you would like. IE. Sword or Bow also you do get a enhance dex spell at I beleve 40 or so which isnt hard to get to at all. So yes I would say go con with out a doubt. The extra hp will save you more times then not.

don't waste your time on
