I was chaotic on my level 52 con elf, and i got killed by 3 destroy mages. they were in coi and someone detect them out same time. i got killed instantly.
Destroy need to get nerf in some way. this is not fair there is too many destroy mages in the server now.

all you need is 100mr.. counter magic.. and immune and destroy is nothing more then an annoyance to most..

2ndly.. you being chao, u should be more careful.. go hunt DI if ur afraid of coi pk.

i have 100mr. i wont survive unless I have 700+ hp. and who would hunt with immune stacked all the time? its no good having so many destroy in the servers now. ppl just erase and destroy in fights

Ya, being red you are going to be a target. Thats just something you got to deal with. And there are safe places to deal with it w/o worrying about this.

No one hunts with immune on all the time hehehe

I can take two destroys, more if its not an int mage, before I have to venz. But I couldnt take three at the same time.

All of this could be solved if they just put in the one connect destroy fix that Korea uses.

you will only die if its coupled with other spells.. but thats the same for all spells.

ok this is what i recommend for destroy. I think it should do more dmg per cast. so increase the damage by 10% , but they should make it once u get destroy by someone, other destroy spell on u wont cuz any damage for a certain time.

US servers are becoming a mage server. every1 leveling mage cuz they have destroy and jst kill anyone with a group of 5 destroy with max int

i wont whine if i die to other spells, since i wont die instantly or it will take more mages. if its other than destroy spells i think i deserve to die. but its just 3 mages destroying me its totally unfair

What I think people fail to take into consideration is that the delay on destroy makes a mage a setting duck after he casts. You HAVE to make it count or you are in trouble.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone try to destroy and when it doesn't work they either venz or flop because pots can't keep up with the damage they are taking.

The one and only problem with destroy (something we dont experience on ken) is the group destroys that detect out and hit you with 3 destroys at once before you know what happened, which will kill 95% of lineage players instantly.

One connect fixes this. Damage doesnt need altered. Delay doesnt need altered.

And the group destroy mages can still do their thing, they just have to work a little harder to do it. By detecting out and erupting before destroy.

I actually disagree. Making it one connect is actually a pretty substantial nerf in effect.

When you cast destroy it HAS to count. If you don't get the kill or the venz you are a sitting duck for the next seven seconds. That encourages people to coordinate their strike.

If they are to make it one hit connect so that is more difficult to venz or kill someone with a destroy they should also make it easier for the mage to defend himself against that person by lowering the delay.

I remember how on dep thier would be like 6-10 mages in coi(when it used to be cheap around 1m) waiting in dv.. and when u walk into the center of thier circle one person dtects and all the mages mass erupt u for an instant death since u would be too shocked to tele....

Aww but the problem and discussion is Destroy not COI mages. If a bunch of mages want to get together in invis and wait for prey to walk up, there is nothing that is going to stop them (not even the insane cost of COI's or the removal of them dropping). Unless you prematurely detect them out when they arent ready and escape as soon as you see them.. Which isnt gunna happen.

But fixing destroy to be one connect will make it more difficult on them. Make them have to be more organized, and maybe even need more of them, to get the same results as they do now.
And it will fix all the destroy problems.

Also make the one connect rule only effect pvp.

omg look at all the 70+

omg look at all the 70+ knights on dep, they not even leveling their knights now. they all went to level their new destroy mages. I have heard and seen both sides knights get ended spilt second by 7+ destroys, its sad. of course its without immune, no 1 hunts with immune 24/7 and cm


if its PvP server i dont

if its PvP server i dont think its smart to hunt now so many destroys are dropped but if u wurnt think about how u can chaomake the mages that have destroy is u are 65- 1% isnt really anything and if u get gresed is even less to make back by the time u make back the 1% they'll likely be neutral or something...to be safe hunt di or somewhere on toi the is less noticeable
