Here is a sneak peek of what's coming in the upcoming Illusion Event. The scheduled date for this publish is August 15th.
Illusion Event Content
You can find the original description for this event here. The upcoming event will be much of the same, but with a few tweaks and additions.

In addition Illusina will make appearances in Resistance Village and Pirate Island Village. It's also rumored that her booty can be found around Pirate Island as well.
Candy Transmuter
Next to each instance of Illusina will be a "Candy Transmuter". This NPC can convert last year's pumpkin candy to the items they represent. For example, candy that healed you will be changed to a healing potion. Candy braves will turn into brave potions. There is no charge for this service. If you do not choose to make use of this, I suggest you start eating. We will be removing all leftover candy on the day the 2x exp event ends (Sept. 5th).
Firewall
Firewall will be re-enabled with this publish. It will be a PvM only spell, as it will do no damage to other players or their pets (in both normal zones and combat zones).
That's what we're looking at so far. Whether or not the KGR implementation present on PTS will be live by then, I'm not sure. That ring has a mind of its own, you know.

Why the heck couldnt you have done that 2 yrs ago when you took firewall away from us? o.o
I guess the candy complaints lead to the removal of the candy. From me, I say thanks. It will anger some people, but they can deal with it... Just curious... What will my 2000 regular punkin candy convert into? Meat? Or candy?
As far as the illusion items.
Please add +2 damage to both the sword and the claw. And make the bow +5 damage instead of +3. (As I am sure you know, the 4/4 on the bow does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. So give it some real damage bonus. 3 isnt enough, its no better than an orc bow or a yumi.) We only have these items for a lil while, so make them worth wasting money on and blowing up.
Maybe a knight only body armor thats 15 base? o.o

as for the illusion items.. nothing really in it for mages so not gona bother wit it, other then to blow some up and see how high i can get

Are these items all classes? So a elf could use the claws, for example?
If not, then some mage items need added. A staff for instance. As no mage will use any of the illusion armor items that are available.

These events always leave
These events always leave mages out ... much like most of the polly events in my opinion (this one is different with bapho available. As a mage, I have no real problem with that. I don't HAVE to play my mage. Sometimes it's nice to get away.
That said, I firmly believe that these type events should allow an average player to improve their gear for a short time. A person with a +9 yumi (about average for an elf at this stage i would think) would have to get that bow to +10 to gain any advantage over what they usually use.
The alternative would be to make them all usable by all classes. It would be fun to run around whacking stuff with a claws on a knight or a mage.

The claw has a better hit
The claw has a better hit than the sword ...nothing new , how bout givin the knights a bit of a evening effect to this event. Give the sword a better hit than the claw so we have a good chance of doin damage like the DE's. The claw is 18/16 where the sword 16/14. Lets try to start evening things out a bit with this event. Everyone asked to try to even things out with MR and AC so now would be a good time to start the ball rolling to see if its going to work!!

GOOSE! =] Anyhow, very glad to see Firewall back in the game. I will agree here with some of the others, that there are no items really in there to benefit a mage! Anyhow, keep up the good work.
Illusion items cannot have
Illusion items cannot have stats added to them (including MR). It's all about ac, dmg, and to-hit.
The armor weighs 300, the weapons weigh 40.
They will be fun to waste
They will be fun to waste money blowing up. But I dont think I will actually be using any of them. Unless the claws are all class, then I will play around with those for a while, for fun.
