So my Macbook crashed, just got back today with a new hard drive and no lin on my laptop. I download lin from the website, everything goes smooth but the first file in auto update registers and error, so i use my old ep1 (When Des were introduced, the last episode disc distributed) disk to install, and again the same error occurs and reads as follows
"Cant decompress /Volumes/Lineage/Lineage.app/Contents/Resources/text/Ep5event12-e.html.gz"
followed by a
"Cant load previous pack file" error.
Does anyone know how to fix this =( i pmed fracas but was looking to see if anyoe else had this problem

Don't use the Episode 1
Don't use the Episode 1 CD's.
They are evil and broken.
Use the d/l image - it should work now that the servers are actually up.

Downloaded the Ep 5 client from the site and still getting the same error! I cant log into the boards on lineage.com either so if someone would be kind enough to let post a bulletin that would be great. I would think i would get a faster response there than from support.
It seems that the mac client doesnt want to support the event content QQ
You get the same error after
You get the same error after downloading the new installer?
EDIT:
Ok I see that was a stupid question given your exact words above. If you haven't submitted a support ticket yet, please do so. You can get started by clicking here.
