The "OLD" lineage

I dont know for sure because i never played dep for long but I like more ppl,
more bps more everything even bots and problems as well. and i havent
played in about 3 years so i dont know how things are just yet.

To see what LOA is like, just imagine 3x what dep is. 3x the bots. 3x the fights. 3x the pledge wars. 3x the people that dont speak english. (Actually prolly more than that) 3x the global spam. 3x the people in your hunting area.

But with all that bad stuff, comes the good stuff... 3x the availability of rare items like high enchanted things. Also, much more of the loa specific items since they have been around a lot longer on LOA. and 3x the people to meet and make friends!

I miss the old lineage to. What is NC doing for advertisement? Not a dang thing...

Wanna see something funny? Type just 'lineage' into the address bar (not search engine)... It takes you to the Lineage2 website... Its like Lineage one doesnt even exist to them. Please try and find Lineage1 on the Play NC list of games... available here.

yep I know its all about lin 2
when I decieded to come back in dec of last year it took me FOREVER to even track down anything about lin 1 so I could get an acct..
lets just say NC is not lin 1 friendly on the web..
if I didnt KNOW it was there, and for a few days i thought it maybe got cancled, I wouldnt of been able to find it..
a true NEWB to lin1 would end up on lin2
in fact all the "new" players I know of are friend of a friend
that means my friedn WE are Nc's idea of advertisment...
scary huh...
all we do is yell about bots...cause all we do is fight bots...

Its an old game "new" players would rather play a new game.

Ive tried getting my kids cousins to play, but its pretty hard to convince them that hunting and killing the same mop over and over in order to level as "fun" when they could be playing world of warcraft (for the same amount of money) that offers the latest and greatest (and gets updated a hella lot more)

The target audience for an old game like this is former players. I'm not sure how well UO is doing, but they recently redid thier graphics engine and im sure it boosted thier subscriptions. No one in thier right mind would start a fresh UO account just because it went 2.5d but the old players who think back to the good ol days would.

I wish the throne room seiges were still around. I remember back on Ken server a short time after
it opened..... Life was great then.. back when the GM's actually played lineage every day. when things got fixed on the spot.. back when GM would pull you into that room with no doors to talk about issues you may have expirienced...back before you could get banned because monitors didnt know the difference between lag and third party programs used for walk thru..
which is totally stupid and I dont see any reason you would use it if you had it.
back when players were treated equally and when people got banned for the same reason and NC found out they made a mistake they didnt just unban one guy and leave 4 others banned..

Yes I was in Nash a longgggggggggg time ago. Most of those old pledgies no longer play at all. I want to say I was in Nash probably 5 or 6 years ago. Wow I have been playing this game for a long time now...I remember the Name D0SE. I cannot say I remember the name SystemS. Biz is still around and a few other old FCA members. (xmonicax, Brickhouse aka. Wareagle probably some others I cannot remember at the moment.

i too miss the good ol days, when we had to group up to kill shelobs and ungoliants, when taming dogs was a fantastic way to make money

those times where, if you hunted hasted constantly, you were super-duper-uber rich

when orc town was the hub of civilization, before magical weapons, before destroy, before FVB, before dark elves!!

when you could trade a coi to get summon, and then the joy of having 8 bugbears following you around

that first week of dragon valley, when twin drakes meant death for EVERYONE!

you see those pictures of you as a child, and a current picture, and you say what the hell happened to me?! thats what has happened to lineage......what i wouldnt give to go back and do it over

LOA was a choice people made when it first came out to move into and play. Just like Dep and Ken for obvious reasons. Whilst I don't like LOA I must agree with all the bad comes the good. However, I feel that NC could have done better to take care of the people in the other servers too.

We are all loyal, paying customers and the gaming experience should be be compromised in any case because we did not make the switch to LOA.

My questions is while LOA needs to be distinct why can't Dep and Ken have their own set of special arrangements that makes people in these servers continually happy?

Kudos for the recent spat of events but what's with the recent discussion on nerfs I see coming our way soon?

Cause Ken/Dep is was a match of NCK and no matter what u say.. you cant get those rules changed

but LoA is an exception where its based on user feedback.
