Just wondering what NC has heard about the merger in china....how did it go? Is there still talk about merging dep with Loa?

Merging servers is an
Merging servers is an inevitability: however that said there are a load of issues involves in such a move.
some want a merge some dont. a lot of people on Ken server do not secondary to the fact they dont like pvp and as well are totally un prepared for a pvp like server. it would take time to develop skills to that end. some think pvp is too stressful while others like to vent in that way.
it would help with the bot situation to a small ammount. i have heard stories when someone went to pk a bot on loa and 20+ other chars showed up to protect the bot. u cant fight that many.
i personally believe that one day well all be one server with less pk areas than dep/loa and more than ken.

another issue to consider is that names may be shared across servers, or perhaps you have 4 chars that you dont want to lose on both servers...then what?
and if they allow name changes, they should allow respecs as well, although that would never happen
Name changes are expected,
Name changes are expected, you cant merge without having to change some names. Including pets.
Respecing is pushing it... I dont see the need to alter characters in a merge.
And they dont have to worry about storage if they just up the storage max to 200 when they merge and everything will fit.
My issue is pledge storages. Many Many people have storage royals with full storages for extra items, those can not be lost... (I would lose millions and millions if my storage got whiped)

I freely admit to being a pack rat....I have TWO royals just to get the extra storage. No way I could consolidate all the odds and ends to a single storage, either. Of course, they could just merge our pledges over intact.... ^^
My bigger concern is deciding which characters I would keep. I have characters on all three servers, including a couple I am pretty fond of on DEP (my first character is there from Beta days). Which of my characters would have to come to an inglorious end? No doubt it would be a complicated process....sounds like a job for SUPER FRACAS. (and good luck with that) LOL.

well as far as the names the way I see it is it should be the one that had the name first as long as both accounts are active "or 3 accounts" if only one account is active then who ever is active gets to keep the name. But then again that might royally dump on some of the LOA characters seeing as though ken and dep have been around for longer. It would be the only fair way cause you can't really say who ever is the higher level gets it cause then the bots would all keep their name :)

Yikes, i would totally hateee server merge. Pvp is kinda fun sometimes .. but there are times where u dont want to deal with it, i think thats why lots play ken.
Besides omg.... events....... yall remember this last event?? ... where we had to kill those bunnies.... spawning 1 bunny every 30 minutes was horrible lol.. (yes they fixed it w more spawn)
But i love to play in a server that doesnt have near as many ppl as loa... or dep
My lil brother plays loa and ..... he didnt have the tradechat off ... it was like a conversation o.o kept moving lol was horrible...
I LOVE KEN! the way it is now, dotntneed more ppl.. just take away the bots x.x
Besides, events are awesome v.v we dont have to fight ppl for mops (yes ppl still mop thief) but i get its not as bad as other servers. x.x

if there wasa server merge, i dont think it would include ken. It would be dep and loa only. Would be cool to give ken ppl the option mabye or give loaers a chance to go to ken. WOuld be a nightmare for NC though to do that. Mabye after ep 6 thats gonna happen.

I would not mind seeing a merger of some sort. Create two servers from the three. One PVP one Non-PVP. Give the option of players on the current PVP server to go to the NON-PVP server, also give players on the Non-PVP server the option to go to a PVP server. Same names are handled by the player who owned the character handle the longest. All items and storage will move with you. Thats just my thoughts on this.

I dunno how hard this would be logistically but they could always give us more character slots, it wouldnt solve everything but it would help a little with the "too many characters problem"
