I've recently activated my account again after years of non-use. I have a few questions that hopefully some of you wiser Lineage-ers can answer.
First off, a little bit about me:
I have a 29 Mage on LoA known as "Gamma." He's my main dude. I also have in retirement a level 49 Dex elf, "SystemS" and a 47 Con Knight, "D0SE", on Dep.
My questions are as follows:
1; Back when I made Gamma, a couple years ago or so, there used to be a bunch of private shops in Oren selling all kinds of stuff (this was before global chat was turned on) So, now I come back after a long while and notice that Global is indeed back, and that I can't seem to find private shops anywhere. Have they been taken out of the game or am I not looking in the right spot?
2; How often is test wiped? I have for now made an elf to mess around with, because I'm not sure how long of a haul I'm in for this go round. It may be a month, it could be a year or more, I'm just testing the waters at this point.
3; Why is everything so darn expensive?!? lol. Before I left the first time, a +8 yumi ran about 8-9m, now I see it's wayyy up there. About the only thing that seems to be about the same are the A-scrolls at about 13m ea. (I'm talking Dep). On LoA, I can't remember any specific prices, but I don't recall anything to far off from the old Dep economy.
4; Are bots a really big issue? From what I can tell over on the official forums, bots are a real nuisance to the legit players of Aden, but I just wanna hear from a few different folks. I know the Test server isn't meant for full-time play, but if getting my toon wiped every now and then means I don't have to put up with bots, then so be it. The reason I left Lineage 2 was because of bots and farmers, plus Lineage 2 was harder to solo.
5; My last one, I promise. Does anyone really pay attention to the sieges on the Live servers anymore (LoA mostly)? I remember the best part about Lineage in my first go round were the crazy sieges. Dunno if anyone here remembers, but there was a time when the SoL/GF alliance held every castle in Aden, and a bunch of smaller Pledges including the one I was in banded together and took back every last one of them. The Giran siege alone saw nearly 800 people at the siege, it was heaven... but I digress. So, how's the siege action these days??

you dont see seiges anymore, at least on LOA, and yes, the bots are a problem (but fun to kill :P )

2. I think about every 6-12 months, or after any episode publish on live servers.
3. Somethings are expensive, somethings arnt.. it fluctuates ~LoA
4. Bots are an issue in the newb zones.. thier is a command u can use to report them to monitors (/accuse) and NC is taking action ~LoA
5. Sieges are like the GF/SOL days where they are all held by super powers to say the least.. no one attempts to siege them.. but orc town/heine may see action.. not too sure on that tho. ~LoA

yea, every now and then you will see a fight for orc town or heine, or an occasional ninja'ing of a IGG or giran
but the big castles are almost always back in the hands of the superpowers by the next seige, and nobody really cares about orc town.....
and fracas, if ur reading this....
maybe all castles could randomly get seiged by npcs, a strong enuff force that it would take an actual defense to repel, and not every castle at once, just randomly at every castle, and the deterremt would not only be the loss of the castle and its income, but also the npcs would set an insane tax rate or something like that

Um... They just removed this
Um... They just removed this 'feature' with Epi5... They used to be taken by NPC's. Now they dont.
The DE army that attacked was just annoying. So was the boss.

Ouch..that work rocks some socks. There are wizards on 52 as well =]. Erase / Cancel /freeze/ coc mages would rock in an army lol.

I'm guess I'm so used to the old spamming ways of global! Thanks a bunch.
Any of you guys seen test lately? Jeez, trash all over the place. GM's need to spawn some major slimage!
