I figured a topic to discuss
I figured a topic to discuss was a good start... but I guess I was wrong?
The reason I bring this up is because... These booty chests have blessed items in them... And I half expected the arrows that are coming from them to be blessed also... And with the fact that a blessed yumi does absolutely nothing more than a regular yumi... maybe we need blessed arrows? Elves have nothing special for demon monsters. As long as there wasnt so many blessed arrows that they became the #1 arrow of every elf, then it would be cool to see them.

OH thats good sk8 REALLY good i would love to see blessed arrows in that case. not all mops are affected by mith or ori the best we have is black mith only because it hits the hardest on a large monster. so to be honest something that could make it a little better would be so great. i agree thats an awesome idea!

Blessed arrows would be cool
Blessed arrows would be cool but we elves already have elemental arrows, we can choose the most effective arrow against a certain mop and without changing the weapon or carrying multiple weapons with us, something that other classes can't do. The bonus given of blessed weapons aren't compareale to those of e.g. silver against undead.
My storage is already permanently full, no idea where to store additional arrow types.
NC should change the effect of blessed bows instead of adding blessed arrows.

You have no idea how much of a bonus blessed really is to a weapon. Its enough to double or triple its value in some cases.
Its a bonus of 1-10 extra damage to demon and undead monsters..

yes thats so true sk8, and not everyone has an elemental bow to use elemental arrows. so belssed arrows would be cool for those of us that dont have the elemental bow. not to mention the fact that the bonus and blessed arrows would totally rock on 31+ floors where theres undead!

The elemental bow is mostly junk... Its to much work for whats it does. And the quivers are dumb and the arrows going away at restart is dumb.
And it gives a completely different type of bonus than blessed arrows would.

OMG! That SUCKS! I didn't
OMG! That SUCKS! I didn't knew that the arrows disapear on restart. I usually d/c (e.g. IP change, Client crash, etc.) 1-4 per Linage sessions. So I would end up with no arrows at all....
Still, I would prefer blessed bows instead of blessed arrows. Blessed bows that have the same effect as blessed melee weapons. Maybe as drop from certain boss mops.

Blessed bows are already in the game, they just don't do anything. We need them to work properly, but of course I think that is what you mean anyway :)

Blessed bows do have the same effect as blessed melee's... They have a damage bonus when you swing them at something... Unfortunately you can not swing a bow anymore... So it does nothing.
The arrow does the damage, the arrow has to be the blessed thing in order to get the bonus.

they dissapear o.o well i didnt know that. i didnt know about the different bonus too.. i knew the bow was junk mrhood had one and he hated it.. its a pain in the neck to make the arrows to collecting the stuff in the elf forest etc i mean its not hard to do but its just silly. they should make it so that u can buy them from an npc in the elvan forest or from that guy that makes them in Ivory Tower,

Bless Arrrows would be
Bless Arrrows would be usefull on 25f+. That Elemental bow is complete garbage...no offense to the person that came up with it, but it just plain suck. Need to make some changes. If we could use regular arrows with it after we run out of Elemental arrows, then I can see some people use that bow more. Now I dont see anyone using that bow at all. Everyone used it the first couple of days that they made it, then found out that it SUCK, and stored it away for good.
The only thing against them
The only thing against them I would say is this...
No blessed mith/silver/ori/bmith arrows... Cause those already carry the undead bonus, and with the added bless bonus on top of that... Lets just say they would own some undeads.
I cant get myself a blessed rapier, or blessed SLS... so you cant have blessed undead weapons either!
(Although I used a blessed mith dagger, and with the bonus of blessed and mith, that thing was awesome for undeads.)
But blessed wooden arrows would be awesome!

im thinking more like blessed mith, not to strong but not to weak would be perfect. or even blessed silver. anything else would be a big streach, if u think about it, Dark Elfs drop mith arrows, make SOME of them blessed and some regular. i think another issue that could be expanded is more storage. im always getting the message that blah blah blah 100 items. when im putting in numerous times that stack into slots already there..

The reason I say no to
The reason I say no to blessed mith/silver is this...
Silver/Mith has an undead bonus of 1-20 damage, on top of the base arrow and bow damage.
If that same arrow were blessed, used against the same undead target... It would be an added bonus of 1-10 damage.
Meaning that one arrow, just from its blessed/silver status, will do an additional 2-30 damage to the target on top of arrow and bow and dex damage. That is a lot of damage, specially combined with TA.
I have used a blessed mithril weapon, and the bonuses do stack together.

a blessed bow doesnt do anything, the arrows are what kills the mops not the bow. and we have blessed bows! blessed yumis and blessed cross bows. that is what this topic is discussing.

I remember the days of being
I remember the days of being able to melee with the bow. The bow of flame was used sometimes to use as a make due weapon to extend one's hunt a little longer (due to its material). The Sayha X-Bow is such a waste right now. It disconnects people and I will refuse to hunt around anyone that uses it!!
