Hi
i have a lvl 49 dex elf.
Before I was water and use +9yumi and +7bg.But they were boring, so i choose fire line and now using asword.
Can someone suggest me What is the best line to choose and what is the best wepaon?

As a dex elf, we'd recommend you stick with a high-damage bow. For an added punch you could go wind. At 50, storm shot gives you a really nice damage bonus.

I've been a Wind elf for the longest time and when I got stormshot it was the best thing for me as a dex elf. Dex elves till always lose out in terms of HP wielding a sword unless at higher level so your best bet would be to go Wind armed with a good bow.

Yes, having the lack of HP it would be highly advisable to go wind or water to keep your distance from some of those strong hitting mops.
I'm a believer in earth
I'm a believer in earth until 50. Earth bind and entangle are both great spells, and you will fine if you are willint to invest in spirit gems those two spells will allow you to hunt places you could not have thought about hunting before.

Thanks guys for your comments. I will be going either for wind or for earth. What weapon do you think is good? I like +9 yumi rather than +9 xbow, +7bg or +9 bxbow. Pleae advise me. Thanks in advance

well im a lvl 49 con/water elf i love the water for hp regen with my ala, i use a Kaiser Xbow, and mith or ori arrows or black mith depending on bosses or not. if u play ken i have a +7 brave xbow for sale 4 mill and its all urs ;) its one step away from Kaiser too thats a bonus kinda lol. if u wanna spend the time hunt heart of dragon.

You are a Dex elf so i don't think you really need the extra +to hit that you get with an xbow so i would go with the +9yumi. BG is nice to have if you are fighting and taking melee dmg, or against mops u may have a hard time hitting, but as a dex elf your main goal should be killing stuff before it hits you. Also as a dex elf your bow dmg is your biggest strong point, so i would try to stay away from swords, and also why i would reccomend wind, unless you plan to hunt very tough areas where earth bind can save ur butt.

Hi, What is the difference between hit bonus and damage bonus and how do it affect with the bow? I have been playing Lineage for more than 3 years but I never know the difference. Any information will be very helpful to me. Thanks
Hit bonus refers to your
Hit bonus refers to your chance to hit the monster u are attacking, and Damage bonus refers to how much damage you do per hit to the monster. For instance say u have a +7yumi and a +7xbow. The yumi would hit harder and the xbow would hit more often even tho they are both enchanted to +7 because of their base stats. A yumi has +3dmg and an xbow has +3 to hit and +2dmg. Your dexterity will also affect your bow damage and your bow accuracy. The higher your Dex the higher your chance to hit and your dmg will be, therefore an xbow may be a better bow for a con elf because Con elves have lower Dex making it harder for them to hit monsters, whereas a Dex elf won't need the +to hit as much as he will need the +to dmg. The Dex elf will have fewer HP than the Con elf but do much more dmg per hit, making the Dex elf's goal killing monsters before they can hit him. To better accomplish this a Dex elf would probably benefit more from a bow with a higher +to dmg. So usually +to dmg is better for Dex elves and +to hit is better for Con elves.

maybe they just mean that wind walk makes em fast..but ...ok now im confused..
I like earth..the spell bless of earth gave me great ac and at 50 exotic vitiolize lets me regen HVY!
I use a kxbow (papi loves me and let me keep the drop in event)
but before that I used a Yumi and LOVED IT!!
Mith arrows work the best in my opinion..
and if you go earth use EBIND... it saves your life I SWEAR you will LOVE it...

Why would you not use Iron
Why would you not use Iron skin as opposed to Bless of Earth? Entangle is also a decent spell as well. Episode 6 wind elves get a sweet spell, Striker Gale. Ignores the Target's ER. Triple arrow will be much more deadly.

lvl 49 Dex elf = kxbow and
lvl 49 Dex elf = kxbow and wind. Go with lizard man gloves and dex ammy. You will kill faster than you have ever before. Try ori arrows for normal hunts if you can afford them.
If you want to switch to melee you will need to get your strength up significantly. Prolly around 55 or higher.
The only faster class to level would be a str/dex de.
