To recreate or not to, or change class altogether

If u decide to change classes dont invest in the char too heavily untill you get a feel for the char. keep the mage buffed out and play another on the side just to see if u like it.

There is no one true best way to play any character. people get stuck on sterotypical ways, i find researching the char stats, along with my level goal to see where i can add now with the mose benefit, and what that will equal in the future. that also takes into factor others opinions of those builds. remember its about your play style not the others opinions. others wisdom is just information.

I have played all sort of classes with different stats, remaking over and over again until I decided that with all these time wasted doing that I'm better off playing one char and making it high level. That's why I'm only now investing time playing my elf which has worked out pretty well for me so far.

Seriously think about what you want out of this game. Think about players like Chance, Molindar, Papa, Nokiamage, etc and how they have dedicated themselves to just working on their main char and have gone so far.

Play around and see what works best for you. For me elf was good coz of range attack and I absolutely love it but if you're a spells kinda guy then by all means go for a mage and make it work for you.

I would still suggest to start con if you are going to plan on lvling to 60 and beyond. Mainly because any other stat you can add and get its benefit (except wisdom) but the benefit of con is the higher hp lvl ups. If you add them later on its a waste, whereas you can add anything else afterwards and it wont be a waste. If u start con you will haev good hp and later can add str dex int whatever u want. If you dont plan to lvl too high than just play whatever you have fun with.

Mind you im a str dex de adding str and dex i didnt start con but i dont wanna start over really either. And in my case, most de's dont get to max out str and dex if they started con unless they 70+. i can and i do somer pretty good dmg.

Yeah for a mage planning to lvl to 60+ my suggestion would be 18con 18wis 16int. U can add to your int once you hit 51, and easily get items to summon 3 mops if u want to, but still get the maximum hp/mp

I had a dex elf that i lvled to 49. I then decided to start over as a con elf and i am happy with my decision. The extra hp has saved me many times and i have more mp this time also.
