We are toying with the idea of bringing LinBay back to LineageOne as part of a new system we're going to call "LinWeb Xtra"
Whilst we can't get your real game info from the servers, we can allow you to create a paper-doll of your character, show your stats, items, exp etc.
To do this, we'd need to re-write a lot of the old LinBay system.
With that in mind, we have a couple of questions for you...
1. Do you even want this system?
2. What limits would you like to see imposed, and what features would you like?
3. Do you even want the ability to auction your in-game items here? (Items are auctioned for in-game currency only. Buyer & Seller must be on the same server)
4. Assuming your answer to 3 is a "yes". Would you like this as part of a new update LinWeb Xtra, or would you like it seperated? Items you bought on LinBay would be added to your LinWeb Xtra, you would only be able to sell items from your LinWeb Xtra account information. New drops/items you buy in-game would have to be added by yourself via a separate form.

Linbay never really worked
Linbay never really worked because the seller was under no obligation to sell item after the auction was over. Also, it was sometimes very hard to track down the seller in game.
The Linweb idea to me wouldn't be worth your time, you will have a very limited amount of people that would show thier gear to the public. The offical Linweb's only real usefulness was to confirm legit levels without having to log into someone elses account.
If you wanted to add more fields in the character profile that people can put what gear they got. That would be about as effective and i would imagine a less time consuming task.

Ya, dont put too much effort into this. I would just imagine everyone making their paper dolls have +9 items instead of what they really have or w/e.
I miss the real linweb. It was lie proof.

I think this would be pretty
I think this would be pretty cool... but I know some players would lie, as Sk8 stated. I don't really care too much for the buying/selling items portion of it, to me it's more work than selling the items in-game.

I liked LinWeb but only
I liked LinWeb but only because it was almost in-sync with the game server! I could see my current percentage, items in storage, etc. That's what I liked and used on LinWeb.
I would never go and manually update my gear and items.
I really would like to have an auction system for Lineage but it have to be linked with the server. Items in auction can not be used, moved, deleted or drop. After the action the item will automaticly transfered to the hightest bidder - same with adena. If you know NeoPets then you know how such an auction-systems works - secure, easy and fun!
Anything else is just a waste of time in my optionion.
