I say obelt all the way no matter what line... But thats my opinion.

Ogre Belts are stupid expensive right now and its not really that necessary for me cause i don't care much more than i need to consume in a 2 hour period and i don't hunt areas that drop heavy items.

my basic load is armor, melee wpn, missle wpn

6k arrows
100 spirt gems
20 magic gems
50 oj's
12 wafers
4 g hastes

i hit about 58% with all that.

I have both a shining belt of body and shining belt of mind. I really do not like the Shining belt of soul. I would rather have 50 hp or 50 mp. In your case, I would probably go with either one of those. One can never go wrong having extra HP, although the extra MP would also be of benefit to you as well. You would get an extra mp regen out of it and you could get off three more triples. I dunno, I really do not play elf really but thats just my thoughts.

I'm a level 57 con elf and i have SBOB and SBoM but was just graced with an ogre belt from my loving hubby in game. Anyway, I was an Earth elf at your level and used the 50hp belt, when I went to water at umm 52 or 53, I used 50mp belt. At 56 I went fire so I do not have the burden of arrows, well, nvm that I have sayha, but anyway, I know GirlElf and Oconnor are both 50+ earth elves and LOVE EV!

I agree ogre belt is the way to go for anyone, but since they are so expensive and rare, I think that since you have EV, you can go with the 50hp belt but once again, it really does depend on your hunts, the areas you hunt and do you actually need more hp with a bow?

Congrats on 50 Khaine. Obelt if you have it or can afford it. Else stick to 50MP belt. You'll need all the MP you can get to cast spells like EV and others.

well since u have good hp i would go with mp belt, but u they not expensive to make, so try all of them and see which one u like the best

Ogre belt is a waste of money for a level 50 earth elf. I don't mean to say it has not value, but the value for an elf with EV is so far below the value for any other class that it is much harder to get your money's worth out of it.

I'd go with the SBoB and SBoM and switch them out depending on where you are hunting. When you get to the point that there is nothing better for you to spend your money on or if you see a good deal, then buy the Ogre belt.

Thought I would weigh in. I've been wearing an o-belt for about 4 years, and until recently it was my absolute most prized possession other than my bowgun. I really like long hunts (about 12-15k mithril arrows per hunt) between resupply stops, so for me, the o-belt ruled, but like Chryses pointed out, for a level 50+ earth elf, it doesn't yield you nearly as much benefit as for example me (a water elf). My recommendation? Go for the HP unless you use TA a lot. I can't tell you how many times having massive HP has saved my butt, especially on lag dc's where I thought for certain I would be dead when I did manage to get logged back on. And btw...I am no longer wearing my o-belt on Val...I switched to a vigor set. :) GL and Congratz on 50!
