Hi all,
how exactly does Counter Mirror works? In my tests it doesn't seem to have an effect at all, neither in PvP combat nor against monsters.
The spell animation is not visible to other players (intended?), there is no spell icon or text info when it depleted.

I know that a high level elf (55+) can have it work on a low level char (below 50) very often.
Yes, the animation is intended to not be seen by other players. If they could see you cast it, then they would know that they shouldnt hit you with magic because it will be returned to them. Just like you cant see counter magic casted by another player.
It is only a pvp spell to, it does not work in pvm. I believe if you restart you can see the timer? (bug?)

Kirby (who sucks) did some testing with me and my destroy spell using counter mirror in a combat zone. he got it to work 6out of 8 tries. im not sure what lvl he was at that time i know he was atl east 55. My mage how ever was only lvl 48. with 18 base int (i wear int ammy and bomp) so i have 20 int in the end. the spell worked i almost killed myself before i realize what he was doing lol..

Geez, I paid 1m for counter mirror some time ago but I am glad I did.
I don't PvP, ever, so I can't tell you how it would for me there.
My main use of CM has been against Elementalists.
If by "works" you mean seeing the icon? then mine works every time.
It MUST be cast just before the magic is sent at you (for lack of a better way of saying it)
When there are more then 2 Elementalists and their summon on me it REALLY helps.
I get much less damage inflicted upon me.
Personally, I like it :)

Thanks for the feedback. I've done some additional testing....
- It worked very well on 27f against Iffy's ranged attack.
- It almost had no effect against a mage (lvl 48 - 21 INT) in PvP (I'm lvl 50 - 13 INT)
Maybe I should add to INT :)
